The 'Boys released Skyler Green to sign Tony Parrish. I think he could be a good slot receiver and a returner. What do you think? The problem is of course, who would we release? So perhaps there isn't any room for him, but Saban knows him, and I would think we should consider it.

He is really short though. I think he is like 5'9. I know he is a Saban guy but I don't know that he would be a Wr but he could definately be a ST player.

He was HORRIBLE for the Cowboys. Word from the Cowboy nation is that they are surprised that he stuck around as long as he did.

Not to be an a$$ ,but We dont need a slot receiver or a kick returner when we have Wes Welker plus Marcus Vick can do all that as well. What we do need is a TALL Endzone threat at the receiver position...

saban won't pick him up.

I know this means nothing now, but before the draft, a magazine I had,had an interview with Saban saying, if there was a chance for the Dolphins to get Skyler they would. So, I guess if it will happen, it will sometime soon.

My guess now, probably not.

welker is 5'9

If no one signs him to a roster, we've got an open spot on the practice squad and think Saban will put sign him there.

I beg to differ. Don't get me wrong, Wes is tough as nails, but he's not the explosive type of returner teams look for. I believe Saban & Mueller will search for and find one this off-season.

yeah well maybe if chambers could catch?:shakeno:

A gust of wind blows welker over. I think Saban cares more about security then running it back for a TD.
