sleepers at RB and WR position

I'd let it slip and say maybe three. But I am under the impression all of the top guys expected to be great, won't be. Lynch, Peterson, or Bush will be a bust. One of them will achieve nothing in the NFL.

Running back is kind of a different position because I'd say that about 90% of their success is because of the offensive line. I really don't think there is much of a difference between most pro-bowl running backs and your "average" running back (with the exception of LT, he is just a beast). Look at Priest Holmes, he wasn't anything special in Baltimore, comes to Kansas City with Willie Roaf, Brian Waters and co. and took the league by storm a few years back. The opposite happened to Edgerrin James last year. If there are no holes to run through, its hard to pick up yards.

So yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if one of those top three backs is considered a bust at first, but if they get a shot on a team with a good o-line then they suddenly won't be busts anymore. Thomas Jones was a bust in Arizona, came to Chicago and has put a few thousand plus yard seasons. So its kind of hard to judge running backs IMO.

Is johnny lee higgins a sleeper? Isn't he a burner? To me like a poor man's ginn to be had later.

I'm a big Higgins fan. I think he is a better WR than Ted Ginn but didn't get as much hype as the OSU player. Higgins is not as good as a return man but i think he would be more valuable as a WR than Ginn.

I don't know if it can all be laid on the shoulders of the O-Line. Look what Ricky did when he came here. He made our lousy O-Line look like super stars.

Eh, I think that was more a product of giving him the ball thirty times a game than anything else. But you are right, he did have success behind a pretty bad o-line.

i dont think higgins will be a sleeper pick. i hear he should go 2nd/3rd round... but, yes i too am high on him and hope he gets picked to be a fin, but theres quite a few more needs than a wr in the 2nd/3rd round.

Mike Walker - WR - UCF

The kid is 6'2 200lbs with a frame to add more. And, apparently has been working on his speed... so he might run in the low 4.4s...

The kid just catches the ball... everytime...

Jason Hill WR Washington State. Was projected as a first round pick for part of the seaso. He missed a few games due to injury, but had a good senior bowl. I think he is looked over due to the school, Not sure if he is a "sleeper" but he could be in the 3rd or 4th according to some mocks

Sorry there are no sleepers at RB this year. There is barely ANY talent at RB this year. Expect no more than 2 RB's in this draft to make any contributions in the NFL.

Thats a pretty ridiculous statement to make. Especially at this point. Sleepers are not predictable for the most part. That statement has no basis.

I'd say Lorenzo Booker could be a sleeper. Not sleeper in the sense that he will become a great RB in the NFL, but I could see him as a nice change of pace back for a team like the NY Giants now that Tiki is gone.

Wright from Fresno State could end up being solid, and probably won't go until day two or very very late round 3.
