The Great Liar is now blaming his failures on other people. Here's a qoute:
"It really is about personnel," Saban said of NFL success. "I don't know how to say this because I don't want to throw anybody under the bus, but the personnel people in the building, that's how you gain an advantage. When you look at the teams that have really good personnel people in the building, that are doing what the coaches want them to do, finding the kind of players the coaches want them to find.

"What happens when you don't do that, they say, 'Ok, here are the three best guys.' These are the three best guys? None of these guys fit our criteria for what we're looking for. Then you go look at the list, and you say, 'Oh, here's three guys that have what we want.' So you're never on the same (page). And you've got to be."

What a charlatan. I can't believe this weasel. He won't even take responsibility for the 6-10 season. Hello Nick, you had full control over the franchise! The more I read on this clown the more I'm glad that's he's nothing but a bad memory. I'm so glad he's been exposed as a wretched fraud. I can't believe I fell for this guy BS about overcoming adversity. He's the one that ran like a rat jumping ship. F U SABAN!:fire:

I think he's right -- the personnel people in Miami sucked. Of course NICK SABAN WAS THE #1 PERSONNEL PERSON AND WAS ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR HIRING ALL THE PERSONNEL UNDERLINGS. If they sucked, he was the reason.

What a ****ing moron this guy is. Can they please find him at a strip club before he signs that Alabama deal?

Personnel? That guy had full control and he's the one who hired all these assistants on this team! WHAT THE **** ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT SABAN? WHAT?

JUST STFU ALREADY; YOU WERE A FAILURE AND YOUR SUCCESS AT THE COLLEGIATE LEVEL WILL NEVER MATCH DON'S SUCCESS.

THEN YOU WONDER WHY THE MEDIA HATES YOUR ***.

Here's another qoute(I put the bold type):

Asked whether he could have gotten there, Saban said, "Yeah. People have to be willing to accept their role, you know? If a guy has been something else before and you hire them for a different role, they aren't willing to accept that role. I'm not talking about anybody specifically. This is a generalization. And that was hard. It was hard on me. I ain't got time to go look at all these guys [during the season]."

I don't know how this man sleeps at night.:shakeno:

Exactly, he was the one that had control over everything. What an idiot. The bottom line is he failed as an NFL coach and GM.

 Yeah, I blame that guy in charge too.

Saban is a huge embarrasment and a joke on himself. We will all realize how bad he bumbeled things as time goes by. Truth be known, IMO he left Miami because so many mistakes were made he realized it would get worse before it got better. He didn't want his image tarnished by what was happening in Miami and figured he would grab the high profile Bama job while people could still remember his successes in college.

It's being reported that he was intending on firing Mueller if he had stayed. It was also reported numerous times during the season that there was a good bit of friction between him and Mueller.

For Saban, it's a convenient out. Ultimately the final decisions rested with him, but how would anyone know who isn't part of the organization whether Mueller didn't deserve blame for suggesting the personnel? (and I think he's talking about players, not coaches)

Saban was familiar with Jason Allen, and a few others, so to try and place the blame solely on Mueller's shoulders is cowardly.

My guess is that Randy was responsible for the team doctor's report weighing so heavily against Brees and that it's very likely the Culpepper/Brees decision was when it all went sideways.

sorry bro, you guessed wrong! Satan had all the power...Randy only had the Blackberry...for Satan to say that Randy didn't do something or wasn't competent in doing something at this juncture is punka**!...he can say what he wants from 1'000miles away; it's like if a girl says you did something to her and you know you didn't...whether you did it or not, as soon as it's said you're permanently STAINED...and add this: you don't hear Randy badmouthing that a-hole in the press do you?...that's a standup guy...

"I ain't got time to go look at all these guys [during the season]."

Then don't ask for power over player personnel you idiot. Saban really dug his own grave here. What a fool.
