I agree with nearly everything this article states. Its seems the majority of us have the same opinion. Has the coaching staff been blind or do they know something we don't. I can tell you this, If I see Tannehill audible out of a play, into a hot route or something to avoid an obvious blitz...that's when I'll believe in change!

Don't agree with trading for Weddle...everything else yes.
 
They pay Tannehill all kinds of money but never seek his true potential, by having a bad line and not allowing him to check off plays. It seems they have this hybrid mentality of doing things. If he wasn't checking off and it didn't work, well change things up

I REALLY hope that it was the coaching staff that was restricting RT from calling audibles. More specifically, If they didn't allow him to call audibles because he can't read a pre-snap defense. If this is the case, WE have a HUGE problem. I really hope this isn't the case.
 
I agree. That's why we have to change things up to see if it is a personnel issue.

Bring in Sean Payton next year if we don't make the playoffs and you'll see how quickly Tannehill flourishes.

Sean Payton , but please don't bring Rob Ryan .
 
why wouldn't Brees here be an option if Sean Peyton comes? I think New Orleans has to cut Brees because of a $30M salary right?

Maybe take Rob Ryan too?
 
I said the play calling sucked in pre season and everyone said, "it's preseason." Just non stop trying to fit square pegs in a round hole with all the players and schemes. Never playing any position or personnel to their strengths. Funny how everyone sees that but the team.

I do agree with the comments presented...even acquiring Weddle, however it would have to be at a very reasonable cost, otherwise, I wouldn't be interested.

On RT, I don't believe he is allowed to audible in the traditional sense. He has "option" abilities where he can make subtle changes to plays, but all those options could still be into the teeth of the defense. By all accounts RT is an very smart guy who should have no problem reading defenses and making adjustments.....but you can see it on Sunday's that it just doesn't happen with the Fins. It will be interesting if that changes moving forward.....it certainly should.

I stopped reading at the changing of the guard page because that bit of Monday morning coaching is getting old for me. Lots of people have been calling for that same change; however, if Campbell isn't making a change, then I have to assume that he doesn't think the team has any better options at the position. Guard is such a glaring weakness for us, that I can't believe Campbell hasn't given the position a good hard look. So either both Philbin and Campbell are blind to some obvious upgrade already on the team, or that upgrade just isn't there. At this point, I'm much more inclined to believe the latter.
