Fuller will be an elite CB in the NFL. Chuck Clark is a good player as well

Having watched every single game of Hargreaves career at the Gators, I think this kid will be an elite player in the NFL. I doubt we'll be in a position to draft him but if we are we can't pass up especially with Grimes getting up there in age.

I think Jourdan Lewis will move up that list quickly.

Hargreaves might be the best player in this entire draft.

That's the guy I'd want for the Fins in this draft. IMHO approaches Revis in terms of ability. We are in bad need of talent at CB. And it's starting to look like we might be picking high enough to get Revis.

There's several playing well but point made. That Jabril Peppers is pretty special himself. But we'll talk more about him next year.

The thing that always immediately jumped out at me in regards to Lewis is he's such a quick twitch athlete. His hips are insane....probably among the best I've seen. His transition out of his backpedal to turn and run is so smooth and fast, that he immediately makes up any separation gained by the receiver. His recovery speed is significant.

Although he's small, he's physical. I like that he plays both on an island on the perimeter, and in the slot. That's how unique his skill set is. Gets a good jam on bigger receivers when he's lined up in the slot and neutralizes the route early.

The best thing about him though is the effort he plays with. This is a the type of kid with some "dawg" in him that coaches can't get enough of. His most impressive play this season I've seen might be the touchdown saving tackle he made against Utah. He came all the way across the field and chased down a screen from behind when the ball carrier had nothing but grass and blockers in front of him.

Despite being only 5'10", he's able to match up with bigger receivers deep down field in single coverage and win 50/50 jump ball situations. I watched him do it against a 6'3" receiver in the end zone to bat away another potential touchdown. You have to keep yourself in phase in order to turn around and locate the football in the air to make a play on it. Too many DB's fail to keep themselves in phase, and that's why they give up big plays.

Essentially, he displays more closely the total package this year as he's developed confidence. One thing I'd like to see him improve on a little bit is his awareness in zone coverage. He gives up some first downs that a DB with his skills shouldn't necessarily do.

In terms of smallish corners, Jourdon Lewis is in a select group that are high caliber defenders.

For the record, not saying Lewis is the best corner prospect, but I do think right now he's playing the best of any corner. And yes Peppers is special. He's basically just being called a hybrid space player. Still a bit raw in coverage down the field, but so so athletic and such a hard worker.

And I just have to give props to Greg Jackson and Mike Zordich (Michigan's secondary coaches). Dunno if anyone outside of Peppers and Clark are seen as NFL guys (Slimm your opinion would be nice), but what they've done with Jeremy Clark and Channing Stribling at CB and Delano Hill and Jarrod Wilson at safety (though Wilson was always solid and Hill was always well liked) is very impressive.

You know what, Will Likely is a beast too. If he was a little taller (listed as 5'7) I think he'd be a top 10 pick.

Jourdan Lewis with the pick 6. He's a bad mofo.

Jordan Lewis named to 2 All American Teams at the halfway point.

Slimm, I'm curious about your thoughts on Artie Burns. He wasn't terribly special for the Canes last year, but IMHO he has played very well this year, with four picks, and in several games teams weren't throwing to his side of the field. And he's has played relatively physical football as well. Is it measurables keeping him off your list?

I think he's probably a safety at the next level, and maybe a backup at that. Special teamer. I realize he's getting some interceptions this year, but they're more of the opportunistic variety than the coverage variety.... tipped balls, etc. In fact, he hasn't even defended a single pass yet this season despite the 5 INT's.

Admittedly haven't seen much of the Gators this season- but Hargreaves deep ball skills were terrible against Bama - his size is also a concern. Also - in an SEC championship game- he had that early pick 6- the best CB of the draft has to bring that ball in.
I was more impressed with the Play of FLA front 7. Very stout
