For all of you that want to run Tanny out of Miami, you don't have much to choose from unless you draft top 3 or get some of the NFL garbage Qb's. Jimmy Clausen is so sought after that he was awarded to a team, also Johnny Manzel is also on the 49ers radar. If these two caliber qb's are what we have to choose from then wouldn't it be better to ride out another year or two with Tanny and try and build the best team possible on both sides of the ball.

Another alternative if you think Tanny is that bad ride out next season with Matt Moore, he can't be much worse than what is out their.

Hahaha, I thought "Slip Pickens" was a QB candidate, was trying to figure out who the hell he was

But the real answer is this, you're not getting rid of Tannehilll until after the next season at the earliest, but that doesn't mean you don't attempt to draft somebody if they were to fall, or grab a developmental prospect.

The days of Tannehill cruising through the offseason with his only competition being the mighty/marvelous/majestic Matt Moore to push him should be over.

Well other teams seem to have done pretty well with their new scrappy qbs so why can't we do it? Not saying tannehill Will be gone, or even that he should. But tyrod Taylor was considered a bum, so was Fitzpatrick, and so far both of them have made tannehill look like, well, the worst qb in the arc east. Please tell me he isn't the highest paid one though. I could see Brady being on a team friendly deal and tannehill being the highetsst paid but worst startistical qb in the afc east.

I thought the same...thinking it was some small school kid.

Miami should definitely draft a quarterback at some point in the draft this year, but I don't think it should be early. I don't think this team has adequately surrounded Tannehill with talent.

When the defense is playing well, the offense seems to falter. And vice versa. One should pick up the other, not bring the other down.

I think it's in Miami's best interest to keep what they have going forward, but invest in some alternative options (mid-round QB this year, and/or high-round draft pick next year).

While some of Tannehill's struggles are on him, there's one thing that is absolutely proven in this league: a balanced offense is absolutely the key to offensive success. You need to be able to do both well, because if not, you become one dimensional and remove any surprise to what you're running.

I agree that we have nothing on this roster that is much better than Tannehill... do I think Matt Moore can make us to be .500 team? Yes. Do I want that? No. We should ride out this season and bring in competition through the draft or free agency then let the cards fall as they may. No-one on this team should feel their job is safe outside of Suh, Landry and Jones. Competition usually brings out the best in athletes. Knowing you were handed a job with no viable replacement, $96 million dollar contract and lack of success just screams cruise control to me.

If we bring in competition and Tannehill smokes them out of the water, then we stay the route. If a rookie is performing at the same level, then go with the rookie and foster his development.

I don't see any scouting info on Pickens. What college, height and stats?

maybe if jerry jones wants to part ways with Romo, Miami can pick him up.

Yes, then we get rid of Tannehill, pick up Romo for a game till he finally gets done in behind our line, then we can draft someone...lol

I can see it now, Sean Payton and Tony Romo. Payton was the cowboys QB coach while Romo was a backup in dallas.

Slip Pickens is going to be a star in this league.

until we fix this line, no QB is going to thrive here. It's a miracle tannehill has been as healthy as he is.
