Curious what folks think about bringing Patterson back if the price is right and letting him duke it out with one of the young guys for the slot job. Hopefully Davis and Taylor are ready this year but if they're not I think we need insurance. If one of those guys beats him out cut bait other wise you keep him and have 3 solid CB's. I just don;t know about Davis and Taylor's kidney disorder, that prohibits him from anti-imflamatories makes me nervous as he seems to take a long time to recover from injuries. If not Patterson does nyone have any other ideas for slot or just roll with a young guy? In the AFC you can;t have enough good CB's and pass rushers.

We have 4 corners we need 1 more regardless. I don't think anybody wants to rely on will Davis as insurance. I hope Davis turns it on but yes i would sign another corner cheap

If I'm not mistaken, Finnegan will be the corner in the slot. He's a better fit for the slot.

I'd bring back Patterson for the boundary and let him compete with Taylor. I'd put Finnegan and Jimmy Wilson inside. With the contract Finnegan got, depending on the guaranteed money I feel like the staff is going to go forward with him across from Grimes unless Taylor emerges, I really hope Taylor does because I think Finnegan's only value is inside at this point.

If Patterson can stay healthy I think he wins that battle. Bring him back to compete.

I think he will compete for the second slot, but most teams run a nickle package 60-65% of the time anyway, so three corners are going to be on the field most of the time.

I think we're gonna draft another corner in the first four rounds considering the age of our starters & the uncertainty of our two young corners.

We don't need another corner, we run jimmy wilson as insurance. He's versatile like that, instead we take 3-4 rb's

Grimes Finnegan Taylor Davis and Wilson as insurance

I don't think we'll be taking any corners on draft day. More pressing needs early on and why take one late when we already have 2 young guys waiting to play? Martin seems to be a great fit at 19 if he's there. He can start inside and eventually move outside. Unless we get a RT in free agency we might draft one in the 3rd or 4th round. I hope we take a RB and TE at some point.

Ozzy rules!!

I thought jimmy was a free agent i guess I'm wrong?

Jimmy Wilson handles the slot and he has the confidence of Kevin Coyle. Some of you just don't get it. Brent Grimes is by far the best player and now he is paid accordingly, but Jimmy makes the calls on the field and he reads the formations very well.
If we have Jimmy, Finnegan, Grimes, Jones and Delmas all playing, we are going to have some pretty lively stuff. It could be quite physical (and highly verbal). Excellent training for Taylor and Davis. Although Willie Davis comes across as such a genuinely nice guy, he may need extra time with Cortland and Jimmy - but no harassing...
