Small School Sleepers Per Rotoworld

I've been high on Justin Durant for a while, the guy can flat out play. Some people project him at ILB in the NFL, but I think he has the speed to make it as a OLB

im a long time season ticket holder for princeton and saw deossie play 2 times over the 4 years and he was great ..aganist princeton last year on a fri nite he had 16 tackless..he is a machine...not sure he is a day 1 pick but another guy not on anyones radar and is gonna not going to get drafted is clifton dawson rb from harvard..he broke the ivy league rushing record this year and he was terrific...he is super fast once he got to the corner he was gone..he finished with 21 td's this past season...he can even catch a few passes here and there..he is only 5'10 but he is the real deal..i know he has not been mentioned or invited to the combine i just thought i throw it out there....:dolphins:

Buzain / Cain / Durant could all be picked in the third round if their combine goes well as all are from small schools put were very productive players

Taurean Charles BCC (ILB/OLB) he would have been Defensive MVP if not for Durant, transfer from UF, he can talk/play the run and has the speed to play in pass coverage.

David Ball #5....thats a joke. He should be the hands down #1 on that list with no exceptions. I'll stake my reputation now by saying he will be the second best WR in this draft behind Calvin Johnson.

Acouple of others are

Wide receiver Aaron Fairooz, this guy went to central Arkansas and stands 6'6" TALL,weighs 215,4.55 40 time
he played 47 games with 167 rec and 2797 total yards, and 26 tds

Wide receiver...Laurent Robinson...Ill state...6'2" 195lbs,4.55 40 time...
43 games,192 rec..3007 total yards,29 tds
BOTH KOULD BE POTENTIAL FIRST YEAR STARS LIKE COLSTON

I would love to get Aaron in the latter rounds because at 6'6" with decent speed and excellent jumping ability he would cause problems for opposing teams...

I have been high on Dan Bazuin from the start.
His stats feel off a bit this year because of his brothers suicide and a nagging injury but check out his stats for 2005
74 tackles,26.5 for a loss,and 16 sacks

I remember reading that Joe Staley saying that Bazuin was by far the best player on there team and what made Staley better was going up aginst Bazuin every day in practice.Scouts have been saying that the kid has the motor, speed, and skills to move to OLB.

Bazuin has been spending almost 2 months at Parisi speed and conditioning school to improve his combine numbers...for anyone not familiar with parisi.com ...check them out

Nell Faulk FAU. I'm not trying to be an Owls homer: His performance against Gaine Adams alone should put him on that list.

I was wondering if anyone has seen these guys play or has any opinions on them from this small school players article on rotoworld.com

What about Jacoby Jones WR from Lane? Has anybody seen this guy play? His triangle #'s look good, but I've never seen him play, would like to hear from anyone who has. Here's a list of sleepers from NFL Draft Countdown:

I like the looks of Michael Coe, too. He tranferred from Arkansas to Alabama St. to play for his father. Maybe this guy will make a solid move up after the combine, he is invited. I wonder how he compared to Chris Houston when he was at Arkansas.

And that is??? :goof:

That's a lot of defense in your mock, and a kicker to boot. Pun intended. That's too much defense for my taste. We'll never compete without an influx of offensive talent, and on top of that I'm tired of boring games. The only possible defensive pick re: 1st round that does much for me is Gaines Adams. We need offense, end of story.

Whats that have to do with this thread?

My Mock could end up going:

1. Brown
2. Kalil

Not to mention FA signings.

Still not enough offense?

Well, guess thats why its MY mock and not yours.:wink:

I personally don't think the offense is all that far off with the right coaching. Could definitely use an upgrade at a few spots, especially the line, but I think Cam's playcalling will fill the biggest need for our offense.

I'm not commenting or your last post, not much interest in that tangent regarding the other guy's reputation. Your mock is listed under the post of your own volition, that's what I'm commenting on. Far too heavily laden with defensive players and kickers for my taste, no offense intended.
