How do you make a smily without clicking on the picture? Is there a way to type out the smily you want in your post?

Yes sir, if you open the smilies list and look at their tags, that is what you would type in. For example, :goof: is listed as :goof with a : on the end. Type that in and :goof: will appear. Hope that helps.
