As I have said before, I am not sure who the front office are going after for QB. I am getting the feeling that Manning is a beautiful smokescreen and the real interest is pouncing on Flynn the first day of free agency. I am not saying this is the right or wrong move, it's just a feeling I have. And before I get torched on here, NO SOURCE lol.
 
man i dont know. but we will all find out before the end of the week. we dont have a qb so this is no smoke screen imo.
 
I think the Manning tour is the smokescreen. AZ and Denver are getting used. Ross knows how to play the game now.
I think Miami has all the intangables, plus a great staff, and talent to win now.
Monday or Tuesday it will all be over, and we can return to our normal lives.

The question is...with or without Manning on our roster?
 
As it was said above there is no reason to smoke screen for Flynn since he would do cartwheels if we signed him.
 
Is that smoke screen you see ... coming from Mary Jane? You did speak of getting torched!?!
 
Am I the only one tired of the word smokescreen? Why does everything have to be so elaborate? Some things are just plain black and white.
 
i'll be very interesting tomorrow....hoping we'll get an opportunity to meet with Manning before the start of free agency Tuesday.
 
Thanks, I do see everyone's points on this. Discussion is good isn't it? Is there a list of words one should and shouldn't use LOL.

...and as history has continued to show us, sometimes things are not what they seem.
 
Everythings a smoke screen here. I live in NE and am really a Pats fan, I post here as a smoke screen. I'm so sick of smokescreen, I think they are not nearly as common as finheaven posters make them out to be. IMHO, if our FO doesn't take a chance on Manning but instead signs Flynn to a Kevin Kolb like contract they are stupid and will likely be replaced in 3 years.
 
Everyone likes a good conspiracy theory (aka smokescreen) ... to avoid the truth & reality of the situation.

Some perverse strategy that has us coming out on top, that gets over on everybody. (aka Madden)
 
I guess I should have simply said, maybe Flynn is the one they are really chasing. I don't know for sure but Ross, Ireland and Philbin haven't told me the whole plan.
