Looking at the SNF schedule, flexing begins Week 5...

Looking at games that have flex potential (ie SNF games that have at least one bad team scheduled), Week 14 looks like the most likely situation for the Dolphins to be flexed into SNF if they are still good. Right now its Steelers @ Raiders. It looked sexy when the schedule was released, but both teams are now struggling.

Patriots @ Dolphins.

A game that could have division title implications.

Would you want this game to be flexed?

They have to flex 12 days in advance, so if that week 5 game is getting flexed, we'll find out soon. That matchup looks like an absolute dogshit garbage football game, but its "THE COWBOYS" so we're probably going to be stuck with that trash.

Oo the Bungles game would be a good one if both teams win next week. Three words: Walk. Off. Safety.

I do think that looking at the matchups in week 5 right now, Miami @ Cincinnati looks like a good potential flex. However, it's not going to happen:

1. Bengals in primetime = potential for Andy Dalton 2.0.
2. Last time Miami played @ Cincinnati in primetime, the game was awful.
3. Are you kidding me? They're not going to flex out Dallas. THE COWBOYS

Fox and the cowboys are like TBS and the Braves.

"America's game of the week" seems to be a crappy cowboys game way too often

I'm fine with the day games, stablizes their routine and we keep the heat advantage.

If they flex Week 5, I think there are some other matchups they'd prefer over Dolphins/Bengals.

Falcons/Steelers
Jaguars/Chiefs
Vikings/Eagles
Rams/Seahawks

And even...

Ravens/Browns

would probably be flexed before Dolphins/Bengals

Week 14 looks much sexier... Other contenders in Week 14 looks like:

Rams/Bears
Ravens/Chiefs
Falcons/Packers
Eagles/Cowboys

I think the wounded Patriots factor would put the Dophins/Patriots over the top.

If we're 4-0 and the Bungles are 3-1, I think they flex it. It would be a pretty big early AFC showdown and a defeat of the Pats would force the Phins to be taken seriously. But honestly I don't think the Bungles win in ATL next week, and we'll of course also have a tough road to a W.
