So who would you take at 14th pick?

Rd 1.. I would go Gordon or the top defensive player on the board.. Hopefully Shelton or Mckinney.. Both remind me of Suggs / Ngata respectfully.. But I wouldn't be upset if they took one of the top big WR if any fall.. Thoughts

DGB. No questions asked.

You really think Miami would draft dgb if they have a problem with how Wallace acts? No way in hell they're touching him.

I'm hoping Cooper falls to us because Parker has injury issues and I think there's a pretty decent falloff after White, Cooper and Parker.

I don't see the comparison honestly. It's not a coachability thing for DGB. Still don't think we would take that chance...we aren't risk takers.

Dominant teams are built through defense and solid offensive lines. DT or CB at 14. I dont think any of the LBs are worthy of the 14th pick.
Now if white or cooper fall to 14, I take them as a value pick. No way I would gamble on DGB in rd 1.

If you saw the combine today, no way Cooper falls out of the top 7. Kevin White may have performed his way into the top 10. If that happens, Cleveland could go with Parker. Jalen Strong would be a great round 2 option if he is still around.

This is not how dominant teams are built. These positions are important, but it doesn't mean you draft one at 14 just because we may need one. Dominant teams draft the BPA and fill holes through FA. We need, at worst, the 14th best player in the draft. Period. Its filling holes through the draft without regard to how good that player is in respect to his position that kills us. The offensive lineman that we have picked the past five years have not worked because while we needed to fill those positions, they weren't worth the pick. This one of the reasons we are always lingering around 8-8.

My receiver board would be in this order......White, Cooper, DGB.....and Parker.

White and Cooper yes!!! DGB cant argue at all athletically and ability, but still got my question marks and we all know why... give me time pondering him still (probably all the way till the draft)

but Parker... yes he is an athletic ability too, can jump and is solid in many ways, but I been watching film on him and slowly lessening my likes on him, and then i saw his workouts at the combine and thought this:

just saw DeVante Parker whom I havent been liking as much with film all in all, and he has slowly got me thinking less of him... watched him in the drills, and i even think lesser of him more now too... didnt display exactly what I been worried on... not great footwork in and out of breaks, rounded routes more, decent hands.... but worst of all... LACK OF HUSTLE

When you watch Conley, on limited opportunities, you see his athleticism. You also see a guy who runs good routes, creates separation, and catches contested passes. This isn't a guy who performed like a superhuman at the Combine but can't play football. He's not Darius Heyward-Bey. So you have better physical tools than Julio Jones and a guy who can play. Looks like a guy going in the top two rounds.

A possible mid round selection(I know how people love to talk about the mid round guys) - Karlos Williams(FSU). At 6-1 230lbs., he runs a 4.48. I am thinking the 5th rd. He is a converted safety. Still needs to learn the position. His footwork, awareness and pad level need work. He needs to develop better instincts(if possible) and wants to bounce things outside. Even if he does not become a meaningful contributor at RB, he can still be effective on ST where he was very good in college. If you get him in the 5th, I would be comfortable with that.
