Are we any better? I know the draft is coming and there will be some cuts post june and we might still get a cheap free agent or two but as of right now it's not looking much better than lazt year. How do you guys see it?

Offence look's young but the Defence look's old.........

I say we improved.

Grimes last year was comically bad against good big WRs. At least Maxwell has size.

Got better at LB, got better at pass rushing DE, got worse at RB.

All this can be great if Gase and Joespeh are the real deals.

Gase/Joseph, that the only difference that needs to be analyzed. The talent level is pretty much going to be the same. Coaching and scheme is all that will matter in the end this season. Can it get worse than last year?

Better at linebacker? Maybe. But if (when?) Kiko gets injured we're even worse than last year. Paper thin back there.

"This"............ A good head coach changes his style of play according to his players. Shula did this. He was run HEAVY with Czonka, Kiick, Morris, Griese hardly threw a pass. Then Marino comes to town and we throw the ball all over the place, he coached to a players ability. He used what he had and made it work. A coach that tries to put his system in ahead of what his players can do, will always wash out. I'm by no means a Patriots fan, but you have to admit that Bill Belichick is a master at using what he has and coaching them up. He doesn't use a system, he uses players and makes a system to fit his players. I really hope that is what we have now, I'm thinking we do.

I understand your point, but your statement is too absolute to be taken seriously.

Draft……thats encouraging given the track record of this front office, realistically how many starters are going to come out of the draft…..a starting offensive guard (like douglas was -sarcasm), starting boundary corner, starting sam or mike mlb, starting defensive lineman and starting running back….You couldn't take care of three of those starters with free agency….come on, particularly that you were counting on anderson to be your replacement for miller……………another hole to fill……Im sorry by they have been awful so far……would have signed two corners at 6 million a piece as opposed to maxwell and nobody…….would have signed or drafted a lb as opposed to alonso, would have signed a another one or two defensive lineman in lieu of vernon leaving and cut mitchell……….would have signed miller and if not him another viable FA running back not tender one you could lose and if signed was going to cost you 6 million…….AND THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL ….JUST ON A PR LEVEL THAT YOU ALLOW TURNER AND THOMAS TO BE YOUR STARTERS…….
