If you look at the NFL broadcast map you will see that S.D. County is the only county east of the mississippi not carying the national game this week. they are showing the Pats/Chiefs. The S.D Union Tribune even had a major article on this today. Even the san diego locals want to watch the jets dolphins cuz the chargers are on FOX this week. Link to story.

The guys name at KFMB is Barry Smith and the phone number is 858-571-8888. The punk even answers his own phone. I have been telling all my friends to call this clown.

So I asked him why they were doing this and the first words out of his mouth were, "Why would I want to watch the 1-15 Dolphins get beat by Favre the game is going to stink. I said what the hell are you talking about. Its Favre for gods sake. Pennington against Favre. Parcells new team, the return of Ricky Williams!!!! And what the hell makes you think the Jets are going to win? The worst part was I couldnt even get a rise out of this guy. They had to petition the league to even be able to show the Chiefs Game!! They said more people would want to watch a divison game. No one in san diego gives a crap about the Chiefs. There are some fish fans out here but way more cheese heads.

So help jump on the badwagon and bang this monkey!!!
 
Good luck with that man. He does sound like a punk, and someone that doesn't know anything about football. He'll learn his lesson after Sunday.

He's a jerk that thinks he knows everything. Merely find out who his boss is and explain that he's not doing his job properly. Do it calmly and clearly. Just explain that he's so bad at his job that even the local paper put out a article about it, that you contacted him and that he didn't care he was making the wrong decision. Other then that the only thing you can do is contact their sponsors and advertisers and explain to them you wont' be doing business with them since they are advertising on that station.
 
You know I did have a conspiracy theory of my own. The cargers didnt sell out until this afternoon and that hasnt happend in a few years. I think the Chargers Mgmnt. Got a hold of the station and figured all the cheese heads and dolfans wouldnt bother going to the Chargers game to watch Brett.

:lol: Nah. Just finished watching the mets game. I have my daughter this weekend, she is already asleep, so I will crash soon. Probably catch Real Time with Bill Maher in a bit before bed. :up:
 
As a matter of fact if you were to fly east from the Mississippi you would eventually get here. Nice to know there are so many English teachers and thread critics on this site. I would engage you in a battle of whits, however it would be unfair of me to fight an unarmed opponent.

I totally agree with you and hate it when people point out little errors that have nothing to do with the point of the post.

However.....the fact that you chose to respond about such a thing and then stated you would engage the people who pointed out that S.D is indeed WEST of the Mississippi in regards to the contential U.S in a battle of "WHITS" :lol: if only it were fair, just made it so much more hilliarious that you stated "east" of the Mississippi in your OP. :sidelol:
