No news is good news, at least thats the case with our d line. this d line is incredible. they were the heart of our defense, while the secondary was running around bumping into eachother and blowing coverages, or d line was getting big time sacks, tackles, and adequate pressure all year. i love the rotating dts with carter and holliday and traylor (well need someone else this year i guess, wright?) zgonina did a nice job. our de's are great with taylor, roth (steadily improving) and d -bo.
i was worried that we would try and change up this chemistry in the interest of youth but i think its evident saban knows what hes got going here. I hope we keep holliday and carter, these guys are classy, grounded, and multi dimensional d linemen. the type of guys that could easily switch to de in case of injury. they also provide a speed element to the dt position that our bigger alternative (traylor) doesnt show. finally, when you do throw someone bigger in there, it changes things up for the offense, our d line is very dynamic, and flat out the best in the league.
