In a few years we will look back and laugh at the fact that we were saying Saban should be fired? Because ALL season last year everyone was talking about giving him 3 + years to rebuild, but now all of the sudden we are flipping out after just this season.

i think in a couple of season we will have a winning team again, and im going to keep supporting him aslong as he's the coach of the phins

but some of you's think sabans a horrible coach already!

do you think it's going to stay this way, and he will be run out of town eventually?

I'm already laughing at fools who say saban should be fired.

I am willing to give him some more time, but this coming offseason will be really telling. He needs to have an excellent draft in 2007 and add a few big time free agents.

i wouldn't say i am flipping out because of this season. i'm flipping out because i have no idea what the hell saban is doing. usually when you hit rock bottom you rebuild with young players. well we hit it in 04 and instead of building from the ground up he built it with veterans. now we virtually need upgrades at every position. the only silver lining to this nightmare season is brady quinn.

I think we can win a Super Bowl in at least 3 of the next 3 seasons if I fire Mularkey and pay someone who isnt a loser to run this offense.

Nope. I am thinking that in a few years we'll be looking back and cursing that we wasted however many years we let him stay on. I gotta admit, I wanted Huizenaga to hire him...I was taken in by the same hype as everyone else. Now...we would definitely have been better off with Scott Linehan.

You give a guy a season and a half to turn around a franchise that was in completel shambles. No draft picks, old defense, 4-12 squad and you want to fire him for the job he has already done? You always give a guy at least 3 years and with his situation, he deserves about 10. What a joke!

:shakeno: You have got to be kidding me!!! This is the same guy who we all cursed for throwing fades in the sun against the Pats, for throwing on four straight downs inside the five against the Falcons. Yeah right! Linehan didn't get a clue until he moved down from the coaches box. Don't let his success in St. Louis fool you. He walked into great situation in a weak division.

I was just surprised how bad we are doing this season. I still believe that Saban can turn things around here but i question alot of the moves that he made this off-season. It makes me wonder why Wayne gave him full control over all personel descisions. Mueller is more a guy he consults with not someone he has to answer to so he still gets final say on everything.

Linehan will not last as a head coach. This much im sure of.

As for saban, Im strangely more comfortable seeing the team lose under saban then win under wannstedt...

atleast with saban i know hes trying to move the team in the right direction.

even if it takes 10 years, saban deserves the opportunity to turn this thing around. he has a plan. all this talk about firing saban! I for one will give him another couple of weeks! :sidelol:

The Dolphins losing Linehan as an offensive coordinator is just as big a loss as any other team had this off-season. I think he will be fine and we are missing him miserably.
