I was doing a search for threads I did on Finheaven, and I came upon this thread that I did back in April which I completley forgot about. I had "predicted" each game of the Dolphins 2005-2006 schedule.

Well, I'm happy to say I'm 1 for 1 right now :-)

"Sept. 11 vs. The Broncos:
The Dolphins typically do well on opening day, especially when they're at home (forget that crappy game against Houston. We were so unprepared). The Dolphins will surprise and defeat the favored Broncos by at least 10.

Sept. 18 AT The Jets:
This will be the game that sets the tone for the rest of the season. The Jets won't be expecting us to be any good, and since the game takes place in Sept at Giants Stadium, there will be no such thing as home field advantage. Dolphins again with the upset.

Sept. 25th vs. The Panthers:
I believe the Panthers will reach the NFC Playoffs this year, and they will be the team that hands us our first loss of the season. "

Sept. 18 AT The Jets:

that is their home stadium also. it will be packed with Jets fans and they get treated as the home team.

right, I knew that. What I meant to say was that even though the game is at Giants Stadium, where we usually play in cold weather, we're playing in September, so there will be no such thing as home field advantage for the Jets since the weather will not effect either team.

So far so good...The Jet's Will make us 2-0 IMO and Carolina can be beat by the Team I saw Sunday

I think we can beat carolina because we have home field advantage ;)

I personally hope i'm wrong and we beat Carolina. How awesome would it be to go into our bye week 3-0?!? Holy crap! But that's going too far. I'm scared the Jets are gonna give us a run for our money, but I hope we beat them and we continue to get praise from ESPN and NFL.com

If you knew that, then why would you say they don't have home field advantage. If you're playing in front of your crowd, you will have an advantage. Crowd noise often leads to several false start penalties. It generally makes audibles more difficult.

I gave my predictions on one of those threads.

I had us going either 11-5 or 12-4

I had us going into the Bye week 3-0

Who knows though? Good job on your prediction hopefully this week is a good one as well.

You're right. I completely forgot about the noise level. I was just thinking in terms of weather since we don't have to deal with crazy rain or snow.
