What took you so long to realize that ? heh ........ For 2 seasons now, Beck has played like a scared little girl in the pocket.. Meanwhile, Henne is the total opposite. The guy actually has command of the huddle/offense , he has incredible poise (remind you of anyone who used to QB the dolphins?)..
Henne plays with moxy, toughness, poise and confidence.. And believe me, when you are in the huddle as an O-lineman and you are looking back at a scared little girl who's your QB, you don't play with confidence yourself.. Because as a player, you don't have confidence in your QB and it affects your game.. And that's not leaderships traits at the QB position (the most important position in football)..
With Henne, it's the opposite, his demeanor actually uplifts his teammates because they see (and feel) his confidence and it translates of the field through the entire offense.. Now THAT's leadership qualities, and qualities a young offense can rally around.....
Beck always looks so unsure of himself, and he seriously lacks any poise at all.. Henne looks like a cool confident QB full of poise, the total opposite of Beck.
What's funny is Henne is 4 years younger and he shows veteran leadership already.. Meanwhile, Beck is much older and he looks like a Junior varsity QB in the pocket (and otherwise) .. His demeanor is very unattractive all around when he's in the game., And that to me is HUGE, and one of the reasons I just flat out do not like Beck for the future of this team..
