his confidence....you see(or hear, like what I'm doing) Chad Henne out there....Yeah,some of his passes where off target, however, the thing you have to admire about him is that he doesnt care...he has the courage to take a chance...On one drive,Beck could have hit a receiver(forgot who...afterall Im listening to the game, not watch it lol),but he just held it down, and look hesitant..I think thats the biggest difference between Beck and Henne,is Beck had mroe confidence,I think he could be performing better than Henne, caus ehe has better accuracy...(not to say Henne doesnt have any, actually its pretty damn good),but thats just me...

What took you so long to realize that ? heh ........ For 2 seasons now, Beck has played like a scared little girl in the pocket.. Meanwhile, Henne is the total opposite. The guy actually has command of the huddle/offense , he has incredible poise (remind you of anyone who used to QB the dolphins?)..

Henne plays with moxy, toughness, poise and confidence.. And believe me, when you are in the huddle as an O-lineman and you are looking back at a scared little girl who's your QB, you don't play with confidence yourself.. Because as a player, you don't have confidence in your QB and it affects your game.. And that's not leadership traits at the QB position (the most important position in football)..

With Henne, it's the opposite, his demeanor actually uplifts his teammates because they see (and feel) his confidence and it translates on the field through the entire offense and it's 10 other players.. Now THAT's leadership qualities, and qualities a young offense can rally around.....

Beck always looks so unsure of himself, and he seriously lacks any poise at all.. Henne looks like a cool confident QB full of poise, the total opposite of Beck.

What's funny is Henne is 4 years younger and he shows veteran leadership already.. Meanwhile, Beck is much older and he looks like a Junior varsity QB in the pocket (and otherwise) .. His demeanor is very unattractive all around when he's in the game., And that to me is HUGE, and one of the reasons I just flat out do not like Beck for the future of this team..

Love it... beauty

.... He sucks.

Pains me to say it but Beck can be described in one word- SUCKAGE.

He does not look like an NFL QB. As a matter of fact I don't think I've ever seen a QB look so overmatched.

I wasnt sure if it was just a first year thing, and I as waiting to see how he'd respond this game and its the same...I also thought last year was KIND OF a pass cause we had a orrible offense and this years offense is way better and he just looks as you said...a junior varsity cheerleader starting at QB....

He's always afraid out on the field, that's why he will never be starting QB.

I guess no one is going to come in here and bash the hell out of you guys for saying the flat out truth about Beck until I come in here and say something about him. I guess I will take one for the team. ......................................

BECK BLOWS!

OK have been hopeful for Beck but I have come to the conclusion he sucks....doesnt look like qb, no confidence....man Ginn and Beck....brutal picks...

I will do you one better...........

John Beck is to QBing what Cam Cameron is to coaching. He was the perfect mate for Cameron. Remember how Cam seemed in pressers? Like a total douche. Thats what Beck is like on the field and in the huddle. Beck is a total dork too. His demenor is the worst.

John Beck is the kinda guy that gets into an argument with his wife and wants to discuss "his feelings". A total push over.

John Beck is the kinda guy that when you go to shake his hand he gives ya one of those not so firm kinda flimsy shakes....you know the kinda guy Im talking about.

John Beck is the kinda guy that if you punched him in the face he would do something like....say "What are you doing man? I thought we were friends."

John Beck is the anti-Marino. No command, no toughness, gets no respect from his teammates, and would never bark at anyone.

John Beck is like Paris Hilton's lap dog.

Beck is a soft *** dork.

Here's a nugget from a post I dug up that someone else made months back. I think it seems perfectly reasonable and credible for Parcells to make this comment.....

"For what it's worth, someone I know very well knows someone who recently played golf with Bill Parcells. The subject of Beck came up. Tuna said he likes what he sees of Beck in terms of skills but needed to find out, "Does he have balls?" (Tuna's words). That means the Dolphins need to be convinced Beck is tough enough for the job and will be a leader."

I think we have all found out....he indeed dosent have the balls.

For 2 seasons? you mean 4 starts and 1/4 and a half 1/4 of preseason ball is now 2 seasons??? Wow, that's pretty amazing stuff!

I'm assuuming all you guys are the ones who wanted Quinn over ginn. Well, get over it. Beck is a good QB with great accuracy. If his only problem is confidence, then we should be happy. His confidence can sky rocket with a good game, and then problem solved. I for one like Beck and think he has a future in this league.

So how did Beck look to you guys? I felt that watching this game just gave me an actuall visual of how crappy he was doing in TC. He looked scared, threw checkdowns, balls in the dirt, fumbles the ball. Henne on the other hand looked and acted the part. Sorry but Beck just acts like a girl in the pocket.
