First off...wow. Now that that's out of the way i think we are going to see a different monster out of J.T this year. Its his final year in the NFL and hes back with the team that drafted him. And if you dont think he had the oppurtunity to go to New England, get a reality check. Him and Porter are at the end of their careers so this is going to be it for them. They are going to be this year what they should have been when we first signed Porter, the only difference is that we have the proper coaching staff to make it Fly.

Even if we dont go far in the Playoffs (we are going to make the playoffs), the fire that J.T. is going to bring is going to teach the likes of Langford and Merling how to be professionals....much like pennington did/is doing for Henne. I love the Miami Dolphins and this signing was not too surprising, but it shows you that Miami is looking for a playoff spot this year. I do not expect Boldin to come, but i would not be too surprised either.

Agree - let's just hope this time around JT buys into this regime's mentality instead of being an antagonist.

As for Boldin, I don't see how the two players are connected at all (I guess maybe that report that said we were "monitoring" both situations). JT is here only because he is willing to play for cheap. He basically let the Phins know he'd play for whatever we'd be willing to pay him. As a GM, you can't turn that down now can you? When Boldin is willing to play for 1-2M/yr, then we'll talk about him landing here.

Right on Oasis. I hope JT dedicates himself to the offseason program and buys into the regime's mentality. Chemistry is an important thing on football teams. This was Taylor's best option...I hope it is the Fins'

Oasis i echo your thoughts.

i am delighted JT is back, and also cudos (i think thats how you spell cudos ha) to Big BP. No matter what has happ previously he is doing what is best for the organization and team. JT knows he cant railroad BP and to turn down 8.5 mil to come HOME for 1.5 mil shows where is heart truly lies.

GREAT MOVE!!!! and cudos to JT also!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I wouldn't say that this is definitely JT's last year. I don't think it's a stretch to say he could play another 2 years.

I agree, and even slower, aging JT, is still going to get you 8-9 sacks from the other side of your main Pass-rusher.....personally, I don't expect an aging JT, he just didn't have the fire in Washington, he had here, wait till the 1st time he sees the J-E-T-S across from him, that will be the moment everyone will know JT is far from ready to retire.

I think the idea is too use Jt on situation plays. I just have too say I am glad we got him back. I was against him coming back when they first talked about it but to me he is family. He belongs with the Miami Dolphins. Now we are complete. Anyway, is how I feel. Never wanted too see him as a Patsy.

Jason Taylor = Miami Dolphins. He has been the face of the franchise just like Dan Marino was for years. I got 4 text messages and 3 emails at work today of people tellin me we got him back and I almost pooped myself. This has been a great day. Trade for Zach and it will really be complete..lol j/k
