This is a tough match up for any team. Falco was a Parcells target in the draft, the guy is for real and can launch looonngg passes.

They have a strong running game with a 1-2 punch, big o line, and Ray Lewis and crew on D.

What is the game plan against this very tough opponent?

I say we blitz the hell out of Falco, and we spread their D out and make them play nickle and dime packages against us.

Tough game coming up.

I think you mean Flacco. Falco was the movie character in The Replacements. LOL
We need to play tough, smart, mistake free football. If we do that, we win.

No Turnovers, Stuff the Run, Score more points

Ravens rely on the playaction, stuff the run and force them to be one dimensional.

Scoreing more points than them is another good way to win games.

We need to blitz Flacco, and hopefully force some bad throws. And obviously, like in every game, we need to contain the run.

The real concern is how do we score enough points to win. The Ravens totally shut down the wildcat in the first meeting. We were unable to run the ball at all, and managed only 13 points. That won't cut it in the playoffs. We need Henning to come up with another solid gameplan, hoping that he can find something in that defense to exploit.

Yeah we need to blitz Flacco. and on Offense we have to run the ball, and we need to spread them and hit short passes.

McClain and McGahee average 3.9yds/carry, so I'm not that scared of their running game.

Flacco has a 80.3 passer rating, so I'm not that scared of their passing game.

The Ravens defense is #1 in NFL in interceptions (26). So what we'll need is for the oline to protect Chad Pennington, and for Chad to be his usual efficient self, and not throw too many interceptions.

Don't turn the ball over and play the way we have all year. This game is going to be a lot closer then the first.

Don't forget the last time we play the Ravens the game was closed in the third quarter, we made a mistake Chad threw an interception that was returned for a touchdown after that we when down hill, but we are a totally different team now, don't forget that game was in week 7 is not going to be easy but what playoff game is?

Go Dolphins beat the Ravens!!!!! :woohoo:

i think the ravens will stop the wildcat again but maybe we should surprise them and run a few sweeps and counters and just dink and dunk down the field.

Falco is also Starfox's wingman.

As for how to beat the Ravens, it's simpe, put more points than the Ravens on the scoreboard.

This game is gonna be all about special teams and field position. We'll be able to work on the Ravens D some, and their offense will be able to work on our D some.

Key things: NO MISTAKES, FEW PENALTIES, FOCUSED, HARD PLAY.

It's the team who wants this game more that will win it...or the winner will be the luckier team that capitalizes on turnovers or penalities.

This is gonna be a very hard fought game...perhaps...the game of the weekend and best of the four scheduled games.

I can't wait to watch it. I reloaded my heart medication this morning at the pharmacy...so I'm good to go.

GO DOLPHINS! BEAT BALTIMORE!

THIS WEEKEND, WE DINE IN HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The first game, we couldn't get off the field on D on third down. We are going to have to get Flabco out of his comfort zone!

I posted in another post on this. I know we are a different team then the first time we played but they are also a different team. They now have a seasoned QB that Has played all the Top 10 defenses this year. Chad only played 2 top 10 Defenses this year and that was the ravens ranked #2 and we lost And if you want to count NE RANKED number 10 We won one, lost one Every other defense we played was Ranked way below 10th.

One of the things we need to do is to protect chad and get the ball out quick. If we come up with a good game plan and then the players follow it to a tee. We could win.

1. Stop the run (which looks promising after owning Thomas Jones)
2. Don't turn the ball over (which looks promising after breaking the NFL record)
3. Pressure Flacco (the one I'm worried about)

If you think back to Week 7, yea, Pennington threw that fluke pick 6. But what sticks out to me is how easy Flacco was able to drive them down the field and keep our D on the field. He took those 5 step drops, had no pressure, and guys running curls down the field were always open. We need to get in his face and disrupt the rhythm he had in that game.

I think our defense can keep their offense in check, they can keep it close enough to win. The key wil be what our offense can do against their defense.
Keep them off balance with misdirection plays, 'trick' plays (I'd like to see more flee flicker plays), original stuff. You have to do this so the Ravens aren't teeing off on you every play, you have to keep them guessing every play, they are too talented for us to just run at them.
Pennington has to be aware where Reed is on every play and spread it around so he is not back their shadowing the number 1 guy. Reed is a game changer.
