I went to bed about 0930, and got up at 1600ish. Took a cold shower, because the water heater went down
two days ago, and nobody in Yoakum, or Cuero, Texas that is in the industry of taking care of such things works
in the last half of December. Did I mention I ran out of propane in a tank that I took my BIL's word for was full?
No? Well, I did. On Christmas.
So, I put on my monkey suit and drove over to the prison, where my supervisor let me off work tonight
so I could help my family finalize my move to south Texas. While I was in the prison barber shop, I watched
the highlights of the Dolphins getting stomped. Right after the high (Low) lights, that's when SGT Hernandez
told me to GTFO and go take care of my family.
Suddenly perspective takes over, and I realize I'm pretty lucky to have a family, supervisors who care
about my well being, and a house with stuff wrong with it that I can fix...Not to mention living in South
Texas where it's not really that cold.
And not even the Dolphins can **** that up.
So my day was good. Take it Sherman......Take it! :hump:
