Kelly: Wouldn’t Have Been Beef if Ryan Tannehill ‘Wasn’t Disrespectful’

http://miami.cbslocal.com/2015/10/0...n-beef-if-ryan-tannehill-wasnt-disrespectful/

I never respond to this idiot but couldn't help myself. Some of you will agree some won't..

My response to him:

ok, so the practice squad players weren't being respectful? Showing up the QB going more than half speed! I hope he said it. They are practice players for a reason. Oh and talk about disrespect. How about disrespecting your teammates by crying like a little BITCH to your agent or a reporter and not telling everything that happened! You know Kelly you talk about how you've done this for over 20 years.. My Grandmother had a saying, Just because you have done something for a long time doesn't mean your any good at or know what your doing. I never understood that as a youngster, now I do. You fit that statement to perfectly!

The irony here is that Omar is criticizing Tannehill for being "disrespectful", when Omar has made a living on being disrespectful.

Always good to hear from discount Stephen A Smith.

Personally I think the local Miami media is more cancerous than any player could be. People don't understand that with their lockerroom access coupled with Twitter (and fans making players quickly aware of what's written/rumored/etc.), media has more to do with sowing or maintaining discontent than ever before.

I would be fully supportive of the Dolphins banning media from the lockerroom and practices. Yes, we really enjoy the updates, but I'd be willing to give that up to spare the team from the buffoonery that goes on.

Want some cheese with that w(h)ine?

From a similar thread:

Yeah but didn't we enjoy the media crap on the Jets for a couple years not too long ago?
Did we not revel in their misery and we couldn't wait for more crap to come out and bash the Jets?

Now our feelings are hurt? Bad bad media... Our fans are as weak as our franchise right now.

I don't see anything wrong with what he said.....he's saying if Ryan didn't do anything wrong he wouldn't have to apologize to his teammates, and he was apologizing for being disrespectful...its obvious to me that RT went over board with his reaction, he basically admitted that in his statement to the press....I think RT would have been better served if he just acknowledged to the press he said somethings he wish he hadn't and spoke to those players about it, he should not have gotten into what he did say and what he didn't say and why he said it, it makes him look petty and not a leader....bad advice from whoever told him to make that statement....

On Crowder & Hochman Show yesterday, Omar said that they intercepted the ball because Tannehill threw it right to them. So not only are we to believe Tannehill flipped out on the defense, but he flipped out over a badly thrown ball? :bobdole:

Listening to Omar tell the story you can absolutely tell his source is Miko... They both ooze with hatred for RT17.

Did anyone see the scene in the movie "Rudy" where the starters get upset because he goes full speed in practice?

Perhaps Salguero and Omar Kelly are the curse of the Dolphins. None of this indian burial ground ****. They're the hexers!

There is just one brain between the two of them, but Stephen A hogs the thesaurus.

Don't think Omar could ever pronounce thesaurus, and would probably think it's some big Dino from Jurassic Park anyway...but did you hear, he once killed a man, so instead of Journalistic Cred, he has street Cred, and goes by the handle O K.

How do you know it was a badly thrown ball by RT17? Again, it's a walk-thru, not a competitive situation. If these guys were acting like the fools they seem to, to me any way, they may have been standing some where, where they shouldn't have been standing. It's my understanding these Saturday practices are 100% for offense and their spacing and timing.

Sorry I just have a hard time taking anyone serious when they are talking about a walk-thru!
