Oh how mediocre and just plain standard Bill makes Dave look. They showed the Pats getting their rings, some of them couldnt help but cry, making me :cry: .

I really wish I could see Dave during practice. What does he say? How does he motivate? That way I could fairly judge Dave. But whatever he's been doing it aint working (and neither are the lobster traps.) :shakeno:
I swear, just watching Belichick teach his players in practice, demanding their respect, running random situational plays by whatever just comes to his mind, and then asking players in each position what they are thinking right then . . .
Dave: So, Pat, what do you think?
Surtain: Of what coach?
Dave: Of that, the lobster trap hanging right there.
Surtain: :eek: , :confused: , oh, uh, uh, great coach [quickly walks away and helps blow MINN game].
In the doc they cut to the Pats executing these plays in practice in real games last year, like giving Denver that safety in MNF. It shows how much practice has turned the Pats into the team that always find a way to win.
I know I'm ranting, I know I'm not being objective. But you know what :goof: .

I'll hand it to ESPN. I enjoy their documentaries... even those highlights shows of each team make every team look amazing.

Very true, they made the Lions look like they were a game away from the SB. But this wasn't one of those team highlight shows. This was where the guy/owner (Steve Sabol?) of NFL films sits down with Belichick and talks football. It was a more in depth of what his philosophie's are and techniques.
