if we lose to denver or washington at home to orton and beck i think the fan base will lose it
and tony would be ousted those are most wins for the FO
hate to say it. but wouldnt that be great? lol. im glad we didnt get orton. the one thing when its all said and done is that these guys didnt handicap us moving forward. there are virtually no bad contracts left on this roster. we wouldnt have been happy with orton either if he was here and thats why ireland didnt trade for him. hes not a franchise qb. even if he was an upgrade on henne - which they werent sure he was. that faith may be rewarded well see.
i want to say this ive been very critical of sparano and ireland in many ways. but there is alot that ireland especially has actually gotten correct. it hasnt been all bad. sparano as well. was willing to bring in nolan. brought in daboll. good moves. i just dont think hes a great coach is all. and ireland has found talent, and seems like without parcells he might have been a little better off. overall with what they had to work with i dont think it was a bad draft. i believe it was another mishap to not grab mallett when he fell and plug him in to the system. its those things that drive me nuts. the back end of the roster stuff - the not building a roster for the pats to matchup defensively especially.
but one thing they do deserve credit for is that with their jobs on the line they didnt change the plan. and this does deserve some props. we are in good shape moving forward for the most part.
