Now that the trade betwene the Rams and Redskins is pretty much official, that really leaves us with one real option-"Peyton Manning". I wanted RG 3 from the get go but now if Manning chooses another team, then what happens? Please don't tell me after only starting two games in the NFL, that you really think Matt Flynn is the answer. Please also don't try and sell me on Tannehill either. So basically, we are screwed and stcuk with Matt Moore, again if Manning doesn't come here. Freakin hilarous. I'm sorry, but I know some of you think Flynn is a real viable option but I don't see it. Taking Tannehill with the #8 overall pick is too high for him as well. Man, I hope for our sake Manning picks Miami or else we will surely stink again in 2012.
 
I assume Matt Flynn will be the backup plan, as long as Cleveland doesn't steal him away. Is he the answer? Who knows, he is a risk but since Philbin knows him better than anyone in the league you have to trust that decision.

If no Flynn, than Tannehill is probably the target, and Matt Moore would start the season.
 
We wont get Manning as we just cannot compete with Denver and their $50million in cap space and we will end up with Matthew Flynn or Ryan Tannehill.

Sorry but $50mil is way above our pay grade... Manning will easily get them to cough up $25 million of that in guaranteed cash.
 
Plan B - Matt Flynn.....I am not sure why people hate him?
 
the tape on flynn is pretty good...but he doesn't have superior or mega high end tools which is gonna have people automatically downing his upside...are you getting a ryan fitzpatrick which isn't bad but its still not good enough or are you getting a mark brunell in his prime???

tough call...philbin better make the right one...i see now that rg3 is off the market heavy comp from cleveland and maybe seattle for flynn...
 
Joe Theismann was on WQAM this afternoon after a round of golf with none other than Matt Flynn himself and Theismann hinted that Flynn really wants to play in Miami with Philbin.
 
matt flynn to miami is what i've been saying since week 17...just seems like the way its gonna go down...i'm scared to death that if/when ireland and ross get manning in the building they're gonna end up putting peyton off...so they'll go right to flynn

if those both fall through it will be tannehill in the draft...but he's not ready so we'll ride in 2012 to start with moore...
