Mediocrity forever...
Matt Moore guarantees this...
Tannehill is another Henne...
Typical unthinking post i/m/o!
Too many dimwits want to ignore actual facts. Step back, take a deep breath, and LOOK AT those facts.
Last season, (1) MOORE arrived here toward the middle of a very short preseason, and was the back-up QB, getting only back-up QB's "reps", until HENNE went down. So much for "timing", and "chemistry"!!! (2) Beyond that, he had "The Meatball" as a HC, and the lingering stench of PARCELLSBALL to deal with. (3) the rest of the MIAMI organization did zippo as well: that includes stupid ROSS, who got cheap in F/A! The result? No quality interior OLman for US!!! There were 6 very solid F/A Gs: I still remember 4 of them! (GALLERY, COLLEDGE, and BOTH of ATLANTA's starting Gs) The whole damn League knew that MIAMI's interior OL was a shambles, so...HOW MANY did we even make a legit offer to? Yeah, NONE. There were a couple more solid OLmen available as "cuts" were made. HOW MANY OF THEM did MIAMI make a legit offer to? Yeah, NONE!!! So, toward the very end of the preseason, MIAMI signs...(drum roll, please!) (4) COLUMBO!!! A real p/o/s. And to enable said p/o/s to play, our OL GURU, a/k/a "The Meatball", moved a serviceable, veteran RT, V CAREY, to RG, where he hadn't played since "The U". Brilliant! The result of the COLUMBO-CAREY experiment? Predictable. By my count, the COLUMBO-CAREY fiasco accounted for 7+ stalled drives/game and sometimes turnovers, and their pathetic play cost MIAMI AT LEAST 5 games: CLEVELAND, DENVER, DALLAS, The GIANTS, and N.E.II! MOORE deserved to be 10-2, and HENNE should have had at least 1 "W". And since SD and HOUSTON each beat MIAMI by 6 points, those 2 games might have been "W"s as well.
Thanks a lot, ROSS, you dumb schmuck.
