So if we get the number 1 pick, what are we doing to do with him? Torture him?

Which teams that suck as a whole suck because of 1 position? I respect your opinion that our team will suddenly get better in other areas that have nothing to do with offense but I refuse to agree to it.

You still never answered my question. Teams with franchise QBs dont suck. Thats just generally how it is. I mean, if you want to not agree just because you dont, thats just dumb. The facts say differ sharply from your opinion.

Our offensive line has more questions than than ever before in the last couple of years. Other than Jake Long and Pouncey, there is no one
out there that is expected to give a solid effort in any given sunday. Fasano is another player who shows up for one game and is never to be
found after that performance once every season. After his great performance a few weeks ago I am not really going to expect to see him again.

Then as sad as I feel about this, Marshall has been dropping passes that should never be dropped in the first place. The rest of our receivers are more
dependent on the equal distribution of offense across key positions such as the success of our quarterback and receiver. Our running back position is
another position that has some pretty solid question marks. Daniel Thomas when he plays he has shown to run through the tackles just fine. One thing
that I am worried is about his ability to stay healthy. Not a great situation for a rookie qb to step in for sure.

Then we have our defensive issues. We can't apply pressure up front, and our linebackers as a group play very inconsistent. We seem to have trouble covering some of the underneath routes and it has become a very nice target for quarterbacks. Other than wake and Karlos, I am not too optimistic about the 2 other positions. This is a defense where you need to have 4 linebackers than can play the run and play the pass efficiently. Then our defensive backs are probably the worst starting 4 of all the teams out there.

*4 out 6 positions on the offensive line have big question marks
*Questionable running game
*3 out of 4 positions on our defensive backfield are not looking very well
*2 out of 4 linebacker positions are questionable
*Average play in our defensive line

It would be tough to stomach coming into the league and joining this mess. This team needs a major overhaul from a coaching and management standpoint. This is why a guy like Tony and Ireland should not be taking a hold of this franchise anymore. They had a while to fix the issue already. Coming to this situation is torture for any rookie qb. This isn't Big Ben joining an already good steelers squad, or Joe Flacco joining a pretty solid team. Or Matt Ryan joining a talented offense. This is Luck joining an offense with more questions than a murder scene.

I'll let you in on a little secret any team that gets Luck is going to be as bad as we are or worse.

Cant think of very many top 3 pick QBs that went to awesome teams.

Whats lost in the argument is with Luck getting all the hype the value of the first pick well be vastly inflated. If we do get it how many picks do you think we could trade it for? I guarantee at least two (and from a crappy team I'm sure). It simply might be the team with the first pick will literally get an offer they cant refuse.

Two picks for Luck? Yea right. If a GM trades Luck for anything less than a proven franchise QB, he is a moron (assuming a team with no future QB gets the pick).
