We all have read 100's of threads about Martin and Incognito. But there is a big picture here, one that has been on-going for two seasons +. What effect has this had one the entire line? It's not just Martin that has struggled. The entire line has. I saw a TMZ report where Incognito was drunk at a pool bar. Are these guys out late, drunk, and can't function the next day at practices and games? There is no question about the talent of the line - high picks and all.
So is this the reason for poor offensive play?

That's what I've been thinking. The Olines WELL documented garbage play and the dysfunctional garbage have to be connected. This mess yielded 33 sacks. I mean its not like they were all holding hands and taking the wives out to dinner once a week or anything. Jake Long left and the group became a bad frathouse situation. Nate Garners in now. Martin's out. Fill the holes, there's winnable games to play.

I agree. Am I correct in assuming that chemistry on the OLine is more important than any other unit on an NFL team? Did the antics of Incognito disrupt that chemistry and cost us some wins?

Nope, dont blame chemistry for their failiure.

I just don't get it. I think you have two linemen that need to be out for two different reasons. Incognito is too much of a distraction and his play isn't worth it. Martin is too soft for this league. I mean you had the VM since April - APRILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. we could have drafted an OT with the 3rd pick if that was the case. Why hold it like a b----, when they want to wait to use something against you?
And don't get me started on the fact that No One knew? I mean I could understand reporting something foul like at PSU, but no one had a clue? Where are the proverbial eyes and ears of the team? Equipment men, scouts, hell, cameras and surveillance? Now Philbin wants to step up? Where is the GM, the talent guy, Ireland in this whole mess? Why hasn't the Owner said something? Thank goodness it hasn't effected the defense, however, of course it had to effect the entire unit of the most important part of the team.
I will say this again, Martin is guilty and innocent in this fiasco, but you know what he may have done? accelerated the demise of this regime. because sooner or later, it was obvious they had to go. They can't find a way to use Wallace, can't run on short yardage, and I love Tannehill, but were DUMB enough to start winning in 2011 when they had the inside track to draft Luck. Do you think people in the state of Indiana care that they were 0-16 or whatever in 2011? No, they have Andrew Luck now.
