that we have seen henne throw the ball enough in a game, what qb does he remind you of slinging the ball the way he did in this game, and the other thing lets not forget, he is 6-3, in what is the hardest schedule ever in the league, what would his record have been if he would have started from the first game, your thoughts

Probably about the same. Maybe we'd have won the Atlanta game, Pennington really did not play well in that game (though our defense was atrocious). Henne has a sensational arm, really better than i ever remember him having at Michigan. He throws legitimate rockets. But he needs to do a better job of managing the game. The sacks and hits he takes are inexcusable, and i don't think i can tolerate another burned timeout. I understand he's in his first year of starting, and in time he'll fix those things. But right now he's far from infallible.

the 2 plays that stood in my mind were once he was out of the pocket he should have thrown the ball away, the other was the pass to polite, where he would have probably gone the distance, very bad trojectory on the ball on that play

He missed several easy throws yesterday, but he made up for it by making some really great ones. If we can get him some real weapons i think this guy can be a real solid QB over the years. It's exciting.

Yeah, that was something seeing Sparano's reaction after Henne burned a second time out in the third. He was irate.

i agree, we need a real wr1
