We were totally torched once again by a team that tried to test our secondary. We had no answer for Moss or Welker or even Gaffney.
With the exception of Will Allen we are below average with every other corner we have. Will Allen is also not getting any younger so corner is a bigtime need in the offseason.

Welcome to last year!

Although the defensive line was pretty awful yesterday too, can't put it all on the secondary. We need more at DE and perhaps another DT for a rotation of players the d-line is just too inconsistent.

The game looked like what was for the jets game. TE and gaffney did a lot of damage in the middle so safety came up. NE rushed for 125 yds and so prevent cassell runing so the safety played in the box.

One FS how ever fast cannot back up 3 CB in 3 diifferent zone of the back field.

I personally think De is alright longterm but we do need another Dt. I am fine thought with Langford, Merling, Holliday, starks and Wright although I think Holliday is gone in the offseason. Dt is another story and unless starks becomes our Dt we have no depth and still need a young guy although I hope Cohen gets a look. Solai is crap so far.

No doubt we need help in the secondary. However, if we don't get more pressure on the QB, I don't care if Champ Bailey and Dion Sanders are back there, we'll still get torched. A stud past rusher on the other side of Porter may help our secondary as much as another quality corner or ballhawk Safety. Ideally we'll figure out how to address both!

I'd still like to see a push to get Asomugha. This isn't just "some good corner" we're talking about here - he literally shuts down half the field. He's still young, and a 1st and 3rd is a hefty price, but still worth it IMHO.

You HAVE to have a guy that can shut down #1 receivers. I'm all for building via the draft, but you're still going to be waiting a few years for a guy to develop into a corner that can really shutdown NFL #1's.

The only problem with that is it will cost a lot more than a 1st and 3rd.

We need a FS, lockdown, theres three really good 1st round prospects, Taylor Mays, William Moore, Myron Rolle... second round is packed with CB goodies and good WR's
i hope we can land someone like Kenny Britt or Heyward Bey in the 2nd round, and a CB like Mike Mickens, Tervard Liondley, Coye Francois.

There is alot of good LB's in 2nd round.. Clint Sintim, Brandon Spikes, Brian Cushing, marcus freeman...

we need FS and CB immidiatly, hopefulyl at least one high draft pick and a free agent like chris gamble...

i can't wait for April, even though im very much enjoying this current season

Quite frankly everyone on our secondary needs to go except jason allen. Their all 30 and up. Bell is not going to get a big contract from us. Our safeties have no range whatsover..

I don't hear a lot about DJ Moore from Vanderbilt, but he is an excellent prospect.
