So Parker Might Not Play This Week Either

Seriously. There’s a writer there that obviously loathes the Dolphins, which makes any info Fins-related pretty untrustworthy.

Although he just put Omar on blast on Twitter which was hilarious

Gase giving Parker the middle finger.
Or is he just trying one last time to motivate Parker.

I don't know if he even realizes that he is costing himself millions by not being on the field.

What are you talking about?

He's been itching to play while the finger was still broken.

Pretty sure he was held out as a precaution (plus we all know he isn't as effective when he plays hurt).

Did you ever see anything anywhere that he was milking an injury or hesitant to suit up for a game?

That's not what I was saying at all.

I don't agree with the premise that he was held out as a precaution. I think it was because he's not earning it in practice, and Gase is letting him know that it's not his position to lose. It's his position to win back.

Gotcha.

It might be a motivational ploy on Gase's part (who knows), but I haven't gotten the impression he hasn't been giving it 100% in practice.

Unless he’s injured or needs the rest to get right you play him.

Period.

Well, he said he was ready last week, and disappointed that he was inactive. I pretty sure I read that he was cleared to play.

If that's the case, one has to wonder why he wasn't at least active, to get in a few reps.

Another possibility is that they are shopping him, but I can't imagine there would be many suitors.

This is one of the most universal assessments of a football player you will ever see. The fan base, media, and coaches are all "over" him. I heard Bokamper, who is employed by the team, even say he was over him and had zero expectation.

At the end of the day, he was a whiff from an evaluation standpoint. He's tall and can make some high catches. But, he's physically nothing special. He doesn't have a burst that gets him open or allows him to separate well. Every receiver can make a catch here and there. How many clutch catches does he have where something was on the line? Two, maybe? This is after three years.

His physical prowess evaluation was a whiff. It's a false narrative to say "I got the evaluation right, he's just soft and lazy." No, he's not special athletically. And it's compounded by his "who cares" attitude and physical weakness. Not everyone is cut out to play NFL football and withstand what you need to.

If he does play, he can make a play here and there. He may have size, but he's not physical and his strength is essentially neutralized.

He should be traded or go some place else and try to prove the Dolphins wrong. Too bad NE wouldn't take him.

We have a lot of needs. Alpha receiver and slot receiver are both needs.

Last few seasons if he was fit he was a guaranteed starter. Not the case this season, hopefully a bit more competition brings out the best in him. I'm don't mind having him for another season.

I’m all for a healthy Parker getting some reps, but right now I’d really like to continue to see more snaps for Grant. I think he’s finally finding his niche in this offense and he draws coverage away from other receivers pretty consistently. A Parker/Stills/Grant trio could force secondaries to make tough coverage decisions every single play.

Man, I love our weapons at receiver this year!

Nothing in the above statement even remotely matters except the coaches. And I don't think they're "over him."

Fan base, media, Kim Bokamper? Give me a break.

At the end of the day this abject turd (as you describe him) will play and draw the other team's number one cornerback when he's on the field.

Obviously not because he's a threat of any sort, just because they enjoy covering Stills, Amendola, Wilson, and Grant with lesser defensive backs.

If they agreed with you, the fans, the media and the Mighty Kim, they'd put a LB on him and save their number 1 corner for Stills.

I was just wondering why we didnt just swap him with Cleveland for Gordon in a even trade...Parker/Gordon get fresh start and Evil Empire gets nothing

Two birds one stone
