Ronnie and cadillac are great players no question about that , I beleive that ronnie´s roll in miami is still in progress , he can be a real weapon , gruden uses cadillac as an every down back ..a la ricky williams so to speak ....don´t waste your time comparing them ...their rolls are completely defferent , now ronnie is our primary back .....but the 1-2 punch is commin with ricky , linehan will use him in different rolls ..... it will be an interesting thing to see ...saban/linehan using both in the same game .

saban is doing a nice job guys .

i'm not sure why gruden is running cadillac so much, the bucs have a good QB and corps of receivers and tight ends. he'll wear him down

I agree ....maybe he has more confidence in him than on the passing game , but we´ll see how durable he is if he continues to carry the ball more tan 30 times a game ...

we will have the potential to win many games with that 1-2 punch.

I'll be interested to see what happens when Williams comes back. Hopefully that will allow Ronnie to be used in different roles, esp being more active pass catching. Ronnie played more of a hybrid back position his senior year at AU. While Carnell got more carries, Ronnie was more versitile within the offense. Split Ronnie out against a LB while the D still has to account for Ricky in the backfield and you'll get a lot of favorable mis-matches against LBs and safties between him and McMichael.

It's 3 games, if he had 700 yards rushing and 10 TD's by now i still wouldn't know if he's a bust or not. I dont know if Cadillac is a bust or not, he's played very well though, it's still far too early to judge.

ROnnie did miss 3 weeks of TrainingCamp so id say hes right on schedule

What happened on Ronnie's long run? Did he slow up because he pulled or tweaked something? It looked like he had nothing but daylight between him and the end zone, and then he took a bad angle or something and got pushed out of bounds. In other words, it looked like he didnt shift into that second gear. What happened exactly?

Glad to see Ronnie had the kind of game we needed from him. Im not sure what Gruden is doing either, don't they have Pittman? I don't see the reasoning in using Cadillac this much this early, he could be spent by game 8 or 9 not to mention his career isnt going to be that long at this pace.

This should make for a VERY interesting game on OCT 16th. The Fins vs The BUCS!!! Circle it on those calenders, folks.

Ronnie had a great game. I knew it was only a matter of time before he broke one out. And I wonder what all the Dolfans who've been hating on your o-line have to say now?
I'm just glad you guys knocked off the Cats for us. But now you become the enemy.:D (can't look past the Jets though)
Also, I have to say as a Bucs fan I am EXTREEMLY concerned about the number of carries that Caddy is getting right now. Mike Pittman was within 30 yards of 1000 last season and is 2nd on the team in receptions over the last two years. And then of course there's Mike Allstott. Pitt and A-Train combine for 1 carry, 3 yards? Come on Chuckie, I know you're feeling good about Carnell but geez.

It looked liked he tweaked his hamstring.

He pulled up and kind of grabbed at his hammy right before he went out of bounds. Maybe it just cramped up on him, since they put him back in.

^agreed, rookies usually hit the wall around week 11 or 12 anyway, this guy may be spent by midseason.

Dude, your sigs need some serious updating-Surtain is long gone (missed him today) and last year's 4-12 killed our "best since 1970" numbers-sorry

somewhere is a link to a storyline that Ronnie tweaked his hammy in the first half. If this was the case that was a very smart move to save it by backing off.
