I don't think we should have... I mean, yes we would have been "guaranteed" a decent pick. But, we would have thrown a season. Personally I think that's just not ethical. If you're going to be a pro team, act like a freakin' pro team. It's what these guys are getting paid for, to win. Then they should be doing their damndest, whether or not they actually win, or lose.

.

I told you idiots at the time that those wins were meaningless and you started threads celebrating them like the birth of your first child or winning the lottery

now you regret it.

I thought by now you'd still be running the streets naked over the win vs the Chiefs in week *** who gives a ****t

idiots with no ability to look at the big picture. You had your fun with the meaningless couple of wins. So why the fukk are you complaining now ?? You asked for it and you got it. Can't have your cake and eat it too

What do you ****ing want a ****ing cookie?

See I can use profanities too to try to make a point! Oh and way to throw those juvenile insults around to your fellow Dolphins fans. I'm sure you'll feel a lot better about yourself. :rolleyes2:

Oh, and I don't care what anyone says...laugh, bitch, moan about it all ya want...no I don't for my team to lose on purpose no matter how "meaningless" the wins may seem. Besides, no point in crying over spilled milk with a new head coach in town. I just hope he has a plan to turn around this franchise quick, so we don't have to deal with this nonsense in the future.

Back during the season, in Sept, Oct, Nov, many fans got insulted at the thought of SUCK FOR LUCK. However, now the Colts will go from Peyton Manning to Andrew Luck. How awesome for them. Meanwhile, we went from potentially the #1 pick and Andrew Luck, and Bill Cowher/Gruden as HC, to the #8 pick, no Brandon Marshall, not even a shot at RG3, and going into rebuilding mode once again.

This thread has a poll. How many of you think we should have just sucked for luck?

All I know is we now have no #1 WR, no #2 WR (legitimate #2) pass catching TE, no QB, and a majorly ****ed up O line. I don't see us winning many if any games this season, hate to say it but maybe its time to start the blow for Barkley campaign.

The Colts didn't win their first game until week 14. After what I went through with this team in 2007, no way would I want to relive that nightmare again. Plus, I will take a season sweep over Buffalo and victories over the Jets every day.

The Colts have a brighter future than us...

AND no one rememers last season...

LOL.

What good is "pride" or some made up BS...

I bet the Colts make serious playoff runs before we do...How sad is that?

Suck for Luck was a no brainer once this team was 0-7. made absolutely no sense to get a few "feel good wins". some folks are just better at seeing the bigger picture.

It's easy to say that now. Back in the regular season I think a decent amount of people would have a different tune.

I knew that what is transpiring was exactly what was going to happen. That's why I was a Suck-for-Lucker.

ALOT of people did. There was playoff talk, we'll-get-em-next-year talk, and my personal favorite, "this team is ACTUALLY 4-2." What a joke.

That late season run vs those awful opponents got me as depressed and numb with this team as I have ever been.

It was either that OR we couldve simply drafted a QB when we actually had the #1 pick a few years ago instead of taking a LT. But, what do I know.

I get a kick out of this question. The "we" in the question is the players and coaches and front office guys. Now put yourself in their position. If you don't give 100% out there, you're gone buddy. It doesn't matter if it gets the team the #1 draft choice in the spring, because you're not going to have a job.
