I really hope....and kind of even expect...to see both our stud backs in the game today. If i'm right, we may see some new formations cutom made for the two back attack. The two back shotgun is a possibility, as is the old Pro set, with one back behind the QB at 4-5 yars, and the other behind a tackle at 4-5 yards. We could see some ace back with Ronnie in the slot and Ricky in the backfield alone. We could also see some X backs (1 behind each tackle). I mentioned this idea way way back when Ricky came back. If we are going to use them both, it may not be to our best advantage to be in an I as often. I'm excited to see how our Offense grows with these two both in the fold.
The great thing about these formations, as demonstrated by the West coast offense, is how quickly our RB's can get into the flat and seams very quickly and make life for the LB's a nightmare trying to key the run and pass.
