Too early to tell if you ask me... I expect to see marked improvement from him over the back stretch of games since he will be facing some suspect defenses.

Frankly, if he's the same guy he is today by week 17 I am going to be very concerned.

Personally I think he's doing a solid job. Cool in the pocket, handles situations well. Not too many turnovers. Although he isn't being helped out at all by his receivers and TEs. The Vikings make a play.. and all the credit goes to Favre.. so sometimes throws awful balls. But his receivers make plays.

If we had a receiving corps that just made plays, Henne would look sensational.

But I like him.. I think he's our starter for awhile and can only get better.

3 and 1 as a starter. Whats not to like? Brady started his career the exact same way.

I agree, he has been pretty solid...usual rookie mistakes from time to time, like rolling into the sack, but not bad.

I'm thinking as long as he shows thatr he is getting better he will be our QB for a long time.

On the bright side, if not at least we didn't give him $50/mil to suck!!!

He is who we thought he was. lol, I am very impressed. I have been watching the fins since Woodley and Strock and I am very happy with this young man.

He's been as good at protecting the football as Pennington. Once we get him a weapon or two, he'll put up numbers.

Did you see M Ryan last night run staright into a sack..., stepping up and two picks... And he has guys who go up and get it...

Solid job....not many mistakes, only as good as the guys you have catching....

I think we can put off drafting a QB this year enough to see more though.

I'm actually not overly sold on Matt Ryan either.

No me either I don't put him ahead of Henne or Flaaco - at this point one year does not a career make..., and that's what I was getting at - the guy has tools and is not that cautious for my liking....

So far I'm pretty pleased. As RevKev pointed out, even Matt Ryan this year isn't Matt Ryan so I expect plenty of bumps in the road. However, right now Henne is on par with this guy, who I think, even more so than Ryan, is on the threshhold of stardom:

I'm still gonna wait, Bruce Gradkowski broke some record as a rookie for most passes without a interception, look how his career worked out, I'm still gonna wait.

hopfully we can build our wr core and put a strong team around Henne. That is why brady puts up the numbers he does. I say for now we are set at RB position. All henne needs a one BIG WR wepon, after that im sure ginn, greg, bess, hartline, or turner will step up and we have the wr core we want.
