So What Happens After Saturday...

You make it sound like all of these players are publicly campaigning for gus to be the starter when it just isnt so, the only guy is mcmike and he is saying how Gus is a leader and stuff and to tell you the truth a guy who beats on his wife is no judge of character or leadership so his opinion means squat considering anything!
:rolleyes2 I can understand all the pro-feeleyness that goes on. I really wanted to see Feeley come out and perform, but maybe he doesn't have it in him. Nevertheless, the fact that AJ is losing the QB battle isn't any reason to go out and bash our team. Besides, just because his character isn't shiny doesn't mean that he can't admire someone elses.

I am not bashing the team just saying for all the player support it is made out that Gus has unfortunately it is the one guy on our team who isnt in a position to admire or even have a idea what leadership is for he hasn't shown a good set of morals or values, I think mcmike is a hell of a player buit as a person obviously he isnt and thats not me taking shots his actions do all the talking!

What if Sage has a great game and all 3 of the other QBs fall on their faces?

Saban will look over and grade the game tapes, he will think about all the practices and what each has done, he will do a gut check on himself, and will go with whoever he believes will help us win the most games.

The same think he will do if AJ looks great or if Gus looks great or if both look about the same.

...the only guy is mcmike and he is saying how Gus is a leader and stuff .....

McMike better campaign for Gus since AJ wants to go deep while Gus doesn't have the arm(anymore) to go deep. This is McMikes contract year, of course he wants the ball.

... if A.J. Feeley plays a good game and Gus Frerotte plays a bad one?

Don't forget, while Gus has played better than A.J. in preseason, neither one of them has had a really good game, and what if Feeley plays spectacular Saturday night?

Just wanna hear your thoughts.
Does it REALLY matter? You're talking about 2 sides of the SAME coin here.

I think the most important factor here is Frerotte being familair with this new offense under Linehan. That's giving him the clear edge, and that's why he should start for Miami regardless of how Feeley looks from here on out.....

You go with the QB who knows the system, and gives you the best opportunity to win. Frerotte has proven to be able to lead this offense much better than Feeley has thus far, and I don't see that changing.....

Rosenfels and Berlin appear to be picking up Linehan's offense better than Feeley as well. This could be the end of AJ Feeley if he doesn't finish the pre-season strong....

PHINZ RULE!!!

I'm just hoping that after the Pittsburgh game Nick names the season starter (whomever it will be))so he can start getting as much work as possible with the first unit. He'll need the last 2 preseason games to help with better timing.JMO

IF Feeley plays better than it'll be his 1st game playing better to Gus' 2. Besides all that, when Gus is on the field and you watch him play, yea he's not a Great QB for sure..we all know that, but he looks more ready to play or like he's serious. I dont know how to explain it but AJ just always looks shook. shaky. Like he's really scared and more worried about getting hit than making the play.

Neither one is the answer. But with what i've seen from Feeley last year and this preseason, and what gus has done... The choice is clearly Gus.

I disagree. The two issues have nothing to do with one another. As a receiver, MicMichael's views on the quarterback situation do carry some weight.

i just hope someone grabs hold of the reigns so theres no more doubts and questioning and ****...

I think that is the one thing that has dissapointed me the most...I didn't expect miracles, but I did expect AJ or Gus to have at least taken the bull by the horns...AJ was a little behind the 8 ball with a new system and if Gus is something special, he should have wrested the job unequivocally by now. AJ is also not known as a very good practice player and runs in streaks...if he gets hot on Saturday, it'll surely gum up the works for Saban...

I think it doesnt matter if Gus starts because I personally think that Gus will get hurt and Feeley will get his start. I think Gus is just to old and will not make it thru the season, Now I don't wish injury upon no one its just my feeling.

ps: of course this depends who starts the season.

I'll have a field day on this board...

Just kidding....LOL

i would just like to see one of them do well enought to say "this is our guy". so far i am not comfortable with either one.
