I see us coming out and playing demonstrably better. I think the team will, as they have in the past, tease us into thinking we can forget about the past and the problems have gone away. I really wish that this team would turn the corner, but after 18yrs. of being on the roller coaster, I see the same destination as before. There will be excuses, there are always excuses. We lost offensive Linemen, we traded away players, the defense doesn't show up, the offense is out to lunch, RT has no protection- it's not his fault. But the reality is the same , nothing that has been done to fix the problems we have faced has worked. Gase only knows to get rid of players that don't agree with him or hire his cronies that really have been less than successful. Same train, different station. Hope is the only thing we have that somehow it will be different than before.:surr:

Well, its an Adam Gase team so we probably get shut out in the first half, commit a bunch of bonehead undisciplined penalties, return kickoffs from deep inside the endzone as well as some ghastly turnovers.

With Osweiler likely to start I highly doubt we play “demonstrably better.” Hell I doubt that even with a healthy Tannehill. Not with Gase still in charge of the game plan and play calling. If we score at all it may be from the defense or special teams.

Assuming Tannehill plays, I expect a much better game from the Fins because:

  • They play much better at home
  • Bears record is just as flawed as the Fins
  • Last 2 games were extremely difficult games to win, and they had flash injuries/ejected players to a single unit in both. DL in NE and OL in Cin...
  • While they're still thin, they've had time to adjust

Run out of passing formation.
Pass out of running formations.

If Gase is worth his salt he will game plan Mack out of the game.
Not saying Mack still won't get at least two sacks.

Let’s see, 2 weeks ago blown out, last week we blow a lead late. If we need a new way to lose then we are primed for a down big, furious comeback that falls just short kind of game :-)

Gase better have a plan. If we come out and fall flat, the pitch forks will be coming out

Os will throw for 280, two TDs, one pick.

And we’ll win.

Why do I say that?

Because when we realize we’re ****ed, all done, accept and get on with fall/winter....

....they pull that kind of ****. The D plays as sharp as they have been. The O rises up. The running game is successfully used. Passing game looks good. Even the shambles we call a line does well.

And we get excited again...

And we whip the Lions....

5-2!!!

And then the wheels come off. For real.

Just maybe...just maybe this is osweiler’s coming back to football life game.

This game is going to get ugly fast.

Osweiller is.... well, use your imagination/

45-3. Osweiller gets sacked for a record number and turns the ball over 6 times.
