Man, that turd of a game was so bad that I had to fast forward it after chads pick in the third quarter to the end of the game. I know it is the first game of the season and we have a long way to go but that was really really bad.

Maybe we will get it together next week. Hopefully.

BTW...what about all those posts about how bad ATL defense is? Jake Long got a butt whoopin and so did the rest of our team. If anything it appeared our offense is pretty bad right now.

Get it together guys, this isn't division 1AA....

We damn sure were gloating about thier piss poor pass defense and how Ryan would be on his back all day, throwing a bunch of picks.

Armchair QBs and prognosticators on this board that berate others about how they are "bad fans" won't show up until we start winning.

I'm here as I've always been. Win, lose or draw...I'm a Miami Dolpins fan. I don't know how to be any other type of fan.

I try to speak my mind with an objective slant and, I predicted the falcons had a good shot at beating us. They did.

Nobody that did all the hooting an hollering about the prognosticaters and how they sucked will show up and take thier lumps. They're cowards. I'll take my lumps gladly, but, most won't. It speaks to character, I think.

Well Sparano should look at his training camp and preseason methods. It's not working. The Dolphins were absolutely not prepared to play today in any facet except for stopping the run. This comes back to coaching. The first thing Sparano has to do is get out of denial, and try to understand why the Dolphins were not ready to go. This after starting last season 0-2.

Mike Smith and his staff completely outcoached the Dolphins. I hope that Sparano recognizes that and tries to diagnose the problem. Hire consultants, study Mike Smith's approaches, do something.

One thing I absolutely despise about this site is that if your not drinking the cool aid and you make a point about how bad someone is playing or the team in general, that makes you a bad fan. I cannot believe some of the homerism on this site. I am all for being a fan and all, which we all are in some capacity, but this site would have people seriously thinking we would make the playoffs if we started 0-9.

I just don't get it. It is like praise the dolphins all the time regardless if they suck.

Bottom line is that today was absolutely atrocious. There is ZERO excuses that can be made today short of being a blatant homer, that would justify our performance. The only thing I can compliment the team about is what I saw about Merling as well as the run defense. I can't tell you much about the game post Chad's pick in third quarter because my TIVO was on the "4" setting of fast forward.

Today's performance, while not meaning much because of being an out of conference game and the first game of the year, was an absolute abomination and quite frankly is one of the worst offensive (it was literally offensive) displays I have EVER seen of an NFL team in my life.

However I am sure some "objective" fan will have all the right excuses for why this happened.

When I was an NCO in the Army......I advised new troops that joined my unit that asked about how to make their 2 mile run better by saying; "Run 3 miles". It never failed.

I have issues with how Sparano runs TC. I hope we can turn on the jets this year like last

You should have told them to run backwards...that would have smoked them.

Yeah GB. I think I am so frustrated because of the amazing amount of mistakes and ineptitude shown by the Dolphins. To only score 7 points against that D is a problem. To have that many errors is a problem. These all come back to preparedness, or lack thereof.

We are the biggest Miami Dolphin site on the internet. We have more hits on this site than some NFL team sites. We are going to have lots of points of view. Our diversity makes us great. We come here to vent, and, express our love for our team.

We're bound to have all sorts. I personally hate all the "Bad fan" stuff, and, if I had my way, I'd do away with it....But it is what it is. We remain the best Dolphin site on the internet.

It's not that bad. It would've been a close game, and quite probably different if Fasano doesn't fumble at the end of the half. We're still a team of grinders.

Your defense played great. But so did ours.Better than even we expected.First game, noboby knows how things will stack up.Enjoyed your board.Intelligent and objective fans.Give 'em **** phish.

We did that more than once. Not two miles, but, I used backpedaling a great deal in my PT sessions. It impvores overall mobility.

Boy, they hated when SSG Kosteck ran PT...

Very gracious. We appreciate you coming by. Please stop in again.

Hey, the Falcons are a playoff caliber team. We committed too many turnovers. You can't win when you turn the ball over that many times when playing a playoff caliber team. When we got something started we turned over the ball. Hopefully we can get back to last seasons mistake free play and be competitive again. The Falcons, obviously, have a better team than most here thought and our pass "D" needs to come to play.

I remember last year when we started 0-2 and some were crying and bemoaning about everyone from Sparano to Brown. The Dolphins will get it together and they will be competitive, IMHO.

The difference was we were also a playoff caliber team and played like a team that just got the number one pick in the draft.
