It is almost inevitable that we get a quarterback, so we will most likely only be able to make one more big signing. Which player will it be?

Carl Nicks - says he wants to be the highest paid player at his position (guard)

Mario Williams - Was not franchise tagged by the Texans

Vincent Jackson - Also not tagged by the Chargers - will also require a ton of money to sign.

Brandon Carr - Will be seeking top money at his position

Cortland Finnegan - Won't get as big of a contract as Carr

Dont see any of those guys in orange and aqua

Not sure if it will be any of those guys you mention, but I think they will go after a top available DE/OLB, guard, or RT in FA. I don't think we go into the draft needing all 3.

I hope they get a FS in free agency. I'm fine with Nelson. Not sure who else is available.

I am not too impressed with the FS's in the draft. Besides, its a position that takes quite an adjustment both mentally with reads and the speed of the game, angles etc. Young FS's tend to not have a clue back there.

JC--is that you in the video? First time I saw it. Great work.

I'm not too familiar with Nelson, but from what it looks like, he is a definite upgrade over our guys.

And that is me, thanks man!

I'd love Nicks but to make him the highest paid guard ever is just not something we can do right now. Williams would be nasty to pair with Wake, but I also don't think we could afford him and have much $ left to play with. I don't see us spending top money on another wide receiver either when we already have Marshall who Jackson is a similar receiver to. And I disagree, I think Finnegan will be higher paid than Carr.

Of these, Carr is the most likely imo.

He'd be a great slot corner to replace Will Allen long term. If we went with Finnegan, I think he'd start opposite Davis which makes Smith a big question mark, he's not a nickle guy to put on slots. He could take out the TE yeah I guess. It'd be a sweet defense though! Finnegan would be the nastiest nickle in the NFL though lol

I'm gonna say - P. MANNING & MARQUES COLSTON

Your in for a major letdown if you think we are signing any of the players above....It will be a Qb, maybe Reggie Nelson, a lineman, and that's about it....every other hole will be filled through the draft.....

I say no to Carl Nicks. He is a great player, but to many times have I seen loads of money given to O and D lineman in their 20's that then become lazy and complacent. I think his attitude shows that he's that type of person.

If we sign Manning, I would love our other big free agent to be Reggie Wayne. Talk about an upgrade!

You could then take the best offensive lineman in the draft at #8 or BPA or even trade down. Our options open up significantly if we sign a free agent qb.

Yah I would like to see us draft a RT (not necessarily in the first round) and sign Carl Nicks. Plus I think Nelson would be an upgrade over what we have at FS.

I like that forward thinking sig you got, SebasMiamiFan!

With Ireland given the ultimatum that we need to get some butts back in seats, I wouldn't be surprised to see Mario Williams as a priority for us. Him and Wake would be game over.

none of the above and carrs not getting top corner money...if i had to today pick the top free agent addition for miami this offseason i'd pick matt flynn...i feel pretty confident thats the way this is headed...but maybe ross can coax manning into coming to miami...i'm just not getting my hopes up on it
