Marino's TD passes that season weren't cheap 1 or 2 yarders.
I respect Manning but he was out to break the record that season any means necessary and he did it with 1 yard TD passes.

Danny boy set most of those records in just his second season and had JJ not been hired to ruin his career, Brett Favre wouldn't have broken his TD record.

100% agreed. I get tired of the rings argument. Do no rings make Barry Sanders any less than the RB he was? People gotta realize its a team sport. Marino took many teams to the playoffs that shouldn't have been there, but were because he carried em. Besides, the game is geared for the QB nowadays with every little touch being a pass interference or roughing the passer.
