Cleveland, Miami and Arizona are the only three I can think of. Of couse I'm not counting Washington and Indy.

Arizona just paid Kolb his $7 million roster bonus so I doubt they will looking a QB in the 1st round. So that leaves Cleveland and Miami at the top of the draft in need of a QB.

Most likely Cleveland. They are talking like they are content with McCoy this year but I think that's just a cover. Other than the Browns, maybe Buffalo although they just committed alot of money to their QB last year. Beyond these two, maybe Kansas City or Denver but not too many teams.

So I'm thinking if Miami jumps on Alex Smith Cleveland could wait until the 3rd round to draft tannehill.

Tannehill will go in the 2nd round...where he belongs.

Aside from Indy and Washington, I think that Cleveland is the only real option that would draft a QB in round 1 besides the Dolphins. The question there is do they pick Tannehill at #4 or go for a value pick like Richardson or Blackmon. Mike Holmgrem likes Colt McCoy, he might be willing to roll with him for one more year. Tannehill isn't dropping out of the first round. Every draft there always seems to be a team that no one thought needed a QB that trades up and drafts one in the late first early second. Last year the Jaguars surprised a lot of people when they traded up for Gabbert. The year before the Broncos traded up for Tebow. At the time many thought they were set at QB with Garrard and Tebow respectively.

If Ryan Mallet can fall to the 3rd round, Miami can wait to make a move on a either Weeden or Tannehill. The only other team in that draft who would be looking for a starter is the Browns. And I do wonder if they view either of those two qb's as a real upgrade over McCoy.

Address the pass rushing and RT hole in the first two rounds. Use one of the 3 third round picks on a QB. Low risk, high reward.

theres only about 2 or 3 teams that arent set at qb, sadly we are one of them. we are better off drafting a qb next year, if we can get smith at a decent price and trade moore , i think we will be fine

Don't discount the Eagles. The Eagles don't have any more guaranteed money invested in Vick after this season and could cut him without any cap consequences. I don't think Tannehill is available at 15, but if he was I wouldn't be surprised to see the Eagles take him. After that, taking one in Round 2 is possible although personally I'm not enamored with any of the other QBs in this draft. My sleeper is Ryan Lindley of San Diego State but they can probably get him in the 4th or 5th round.

Aside from the obvious Washington and Indy, these are the teams I think are most likely to draft a QB in the first 3 rounds...Buffalo, Miami, KC, Oakland, Denver, Philly, Green Bay. Maybe even Baltimore and Giants.

when reading cleveland stuff on RG3 i heard things like they want to keep their picks and they mention tannehill over flynn and would look to get him at 22. But now, Miami is doing them a favor by filling the market to teams in need of QB and who would have drafted tannehill. So now Cleveland would look to take Tannehill at 36 instead.

Until Ireland trades down, gets another 2nd and a later round pick and then takes Tannehill in 1st.

It will depend on where Manning goes. If Titans instead of Denver, then Hasselback goes to Dolphins (if they haven't signed Smith) or Cleveland and Denver will be in the hunt for a QB in the draft. If Hasselback goes to Cleveland, they won't draft a QB in first 3. If Manning goes to Denver, then Cleveland, Miami, and KC will be fighting over Tannehill, Weedon, and perhaps, Cousins (who I like) within the first two rounds.
