Rams focusing on lower-profile candidates to replace Jeff Fisher

While much of the speculation related to the Los Angeles Rams' head-coaching search has been centered on high-profile names such as Jon Gruden and Jim Harbaugh, the team's focus so far has been on several NFL assistant coaches, league sources told ESPN.
The Rams have looked into Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Vance Joseph and Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Anthony Lynn, who square off Saturday in Buffalo, as well as offensive coordinators Josh McDaniels of the Patriots and Kyle Shanahan of the Falcons, sources said.

I'm still not believing that VJ will be selected based on his level of experience but assuming he's a consideration who do you think this game helped?

This game definitely does not help VJ in anyway.

The defense played sub-par for a majority of today, while our offense showed up pretty consistently. Today's game definitely helps Bills' OC.

VJ just allows 600 yards to a team about to lose its head coach. He isn't ready.

Well given his performance, I think we have VJ another year.

I mean I don't think there are many defensive coordinators that can come up with a scheme to cover up the back 7 of this defense in its current state. That is not a very good group at all. Then IAQ goes out on top of it. You literally are playing with Kiko, 2 inexperienced CBs and a bunch of special teams guys at LB and Safety and your DLine was unable to win the battle up front. Then you have arguably the best RB in the game right now and the most mobile QB with a beast WR when healthy and a very solid receiving TE.

It looks bad on him, but not sure it effects him either way. Teams looking for a head coach would understand why his defense gave up that type of yardage in this game.

This team has been gashed in the rushing game all year. If teams were checking him out, it wasn't about overall numbers. He's done a amazing job with the personnel he's been given. Given that, i still don't think he's going anywhere.
