So who else's nerves are on edge?

Maybe it is because I live in Colorado, but I am nervous as hell about tomorrow. Even if Miami falters in the end, if we can win this game I can at least say Miami beat the mighty Broncos and shut a few mouths around here. That is on a personal level. The bigger picture of course is the playoffs. If the team can manage to knock off Denver they will be one step closer to a playoff berth and will most likely force the NFL as a whole to sit up and take notice of them. I very well might be over thinking this thing but to me this sure seems like a playoff game to me. I mean I am so worried about it that I just wish I could time warp to the end of the game tomorrow just so I can kill anticipation of it all.
 
I don't get nervous man to be honest.

I don't feel the same about football anymore as I used too. I enjoy watching the game, but I don't get nervous on saturdays anymore.

I guess I'm just old :lol: (I'm not old btw, just old at heart I guess)
 
I used to get nervous and when we lose it'd ruin my whole week but not anymore. I get upset when we blow a game we had a chance to win but as much as I love football it's still just a game and I know there's way more important things in life.
 
I will get a little nervous once I see Manning trot onto the field. Same as I did with Rodgers (but not for Brady typically). If they win, it's a big deal and i'll enjoy the win all week. If they lose, it's just a game and i'll be back next week.

This is my least nervous week of the season. Anything better than a 7 point loss is a plesent surprise
 
I'll say it... I'm very nervous. Nervous that I'll have to sit here with my hopes up just to see this team break my heart like every year. I'm tired of that. I want January football. I'm tired of seeing my dad (Pats fan) enjoy January football every damn year. So hell yeah I'm nervous.

Basically feel the same as this, figured this would be the toughest game on the schedule this year. I will say this though, felt like we would probably lose the Packer and Lions game but when we had the lead in both- nervous level cranked up, will be same Sunday if were in the same situation.
 
Here is the deal. This is a "house money" game. Regardless of what happens they are playing relevant football in December. 6-5 is where I wanted them to be going into December when we discussed the schedule back in the summer.

It is games like this that a coaching staff has to wear the hat of a game plan, motivation and the "riverboat gambler" attitude to pull off the road win. I am not sure Joe is up to it.
 
I'm almost always nervous every week, not feeling it this week. Maybe that will change tomorrow. Either way, go kick their ass. A loss will probaby cripple our chances of winning the division though.
 
I'm with Disturbed Shifty. I'm nervous as ****. I've fallen in to the trap of hope. I'm Pavlov's Dolphin fan. Show me slight promise from the Fins and I'm salivating for the playoffs. I still have a lot of emotion for the games but the only difference these days, compared to when I was young, is that I don't let the losses effect me. Or at least I don't let it spill into Mondays.
 
all it does is prevents me from watching sports canter or NFL network for most of the week if they lose, with a win I watch the game on rewind several times
 
Usually if we lose I don't feel like watching the 4pm games but since we're planning the late game it won't matter. If we lose I just won't watch the SNF game
 
You live in Colorado and you feel nervous? Switch strains bro.
