Its been kind of quiet on the Ronnie Brown backups front. Who you got left that can carry the ball?

Dolphins are trying to work a trade with Tennesee, so it's possible that Chris Brown may come down here as Ronnie's back-up. Also, if that doesn't work out, Denver has a few running backs up on the trade block too.

We're looking, either way, it's not that important. Ronnie Brown will carry the load and prove the doubters wrong.

dream on

There is a good chance that one of the backs on the roster until after the first game. That way they don't have to guarentee the salary of the veteren they bring in.

Yea I mean we may try to bring a guy in here . . . but these Chris Brown talks need to stop . . . lol Chris Brown will require a minimum of a 3rd round pick IMO . . . and Fisher probably wants more than that. Forget it. There is nothing wrong with letting Riggs or KJ along with Minor backup Ronnie for a few games if need be. Hey who knows, they might impress. I'm for bringing in a guy, but not for a high cost. I personally wouldn't mind seeing Lee Suggs come thru if he is healthy.

i dont want chris brown down here, a good back but we already have a starting back.....

Kay Jay and Riggs both make the team Travis is a gonner these two back him up!

That would never happen because Minor is our best player on special teams (other than Mare and Jones)

I think we def. need to sign someone now. I was happy with Sammy backing up ronnie but now I think we have to sign someone. Antoine Smith was cut. He could be a good back up for a few games and cost us close to nothing

lets pickup a guy who was cut and not throw away a pick because we wont have morris for 4 games.

 You must be a Cadillac Williams fan.

why would you draw that conclusion?

now, wouldn't you feel more comfortable knowing that there is a bonafide qualified RB that could split the load with ronnie? look at the benefits...

. reduces the risk of injury
. keeps both RB fresh throughout the game
. gives us more options to 'grind it out' late in the game

bring in another RB !!

cedric humes and artose pinner were cut today. I'd prefer artose pinner

You're right, and most teams are realizing the benefits of a dual-RB system, and the Dolphins are indeed in the market for a backup. I think the issue is that you appeared to be dumping on Ronnie Brown.
