He's a free agent right? Would it be the worst thing in the world to have a conversation with the guy? Or maybe he's going to retire and pursue acting full time?

He should sign with Miami on a cheap deal. He needs to put on weight. He lost some pounds when he was playing DE in Jacksonville. Good thing Miami has the best Cuban food. Lift a few hours a day then eat your feelings out.

he played last year with the Jags right? Or was that a year ago and he's been out of football? Why is he a free agent still? What am I missing. He's a pretty good DE that can move inside and play some DT. If he's not being chased by other teams, he might be willing to return to Miami at a discount. That's great value IMHO.

Nobody returns for a discount, they return for a job.

I highly doubt the FO has not at least contacted the guy to see where he's at...I doubt he comes here, but he probably just wants to maximize his current status as a free agent and wait for right time/offer to come up....when a few DT's go down or get arrested his value will go up.

He's visiting the Pats

in that case, hopefully we get to see him put on his ass a few times next year....

His post on Instagram in the Dolphins office yesterday got me hyped. Then realized he was filming for Ballers.

With our O-line, probably not. Unless he's lined up against Tunsil, which is doubtful.

afaik he has bad blood with the dolphins. would be a surprise if he returns

Any further deets you can provide? I mean is it related to not get re-signed by us? Not respecting the Phins staff? Owner?

Gase was very, very adamant that they were looking for guys this off season who had a genuine ,"love for the game."

If Jared were to interview with the brass and impress them as far his dedication and passion; we could see a contract offer, otherwise, I am not sure they believe in his willingness to sacrifice other things in his life and display an outstanding work ethic. I have my own doubts, but if he wanted to, I think he could really help us against the run and give us even more versatility.

They may be jaded by what happened with Mario Williams and Jason Jones.
