So Joey T. Is constantly bashing Ricky every chance he gets always telling us how much is a discrace he is and so on and so forth. But it seems the Tiger in the media is just a *****cat after all.

Quote from Ricky:

"Every time he says something, here's what happens: He says a remark about me that's offensive, then when he has to (broadcast) one of our (Dolphins) games, he comes in and apologizes and says, 'I'm sorry,'" Williams said.

Looks like the big bad wolf's bark is alot worse than his bite.

Great find! Thanks.

ha ha I couldn't help but laugh when i heard Ricky's response. Ricky Williams has broken my heart twice now, but how can you not love the guy.

As far as Joe Theismann goes, explain to me how he finds Ricky Williams to be such a disgrace to the game of football, but never has anything negative to say about players like Jamal Lewis, Ray Lewis, Leonard Little who serve jail sentences, beat their girlfriends get DUI after DUi etc. I mean try to put things in perspective.

I often wonder what he ever said to Dexter Manley with whom he played with for years with the skins. I wonder if he ever walked over to Dexters locker and told him how big a disgrace he was for being a cokehead, or was it okay as long as Dexter kept sacking the QB.

That's why I think Joe is one of the biggest hypocrites around. all he has is praise for guys like LT (a known crackhead at one time) but constantly bashes Ricky.

A disgrace to the game, hmm strong comments. Joe just wants to make a take that will get him noticed. He needs attention.

Probably because Manley played 11 straight years, and never turned his back on the team that paid him.

Williams walked out on MILLIONS, and now look. He disgraced himself, lost all of his money, and finds himself working in Oh Canada for peanuts.

I was glad he seemed to be on the right track last year but he is not beyond criticism.

Hopefully Ricky keeps stays straight up in Canada. Afterall, it is the weed capital (crypto) of North America.

JT is a punk. He bashes people who dont have any intent on trying to hurt him back. Ricky is a soft person when he doesn't have the pads on. If he tried that with Jamal Lewis or Ray Lewis they might just start beating his @ss when the camera's rolling.

I posted this in the VIP forum..........but it fits very well into this thread:

Here's a quote from an article today
Theismann said he thinks the Argonauts are sending a bad message to children by signing someone who has admitted to using marijuana in the past.

"Now he insults the intelligence of everybody that thinks that doing drugs is OK. To me, it's the wrong message to send to kids. It's the wrong thing to be doing, and the Toronto Argonauts have embarrassed themselves as an organization signing him."

So Joe is worried about the message that Ricky is sending to the kids with his marijuana use, huh?? I'm sure a saint like Joe sent all the right messages to his kids, right.........or did he???

The son of a former Notre Dame football great is facing charges of using and dealing cocaine. Joe Theismann's son was arrested at a Roseland hotel two weeks ago, and wants to dispute the charges.

Those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

My friend, no one could have put this any better than you just did and to say Dexter Manley was a known crackhead is putting it mildly. Dexter Manley is the biggest drug addict ever to wear an N.F.L. uniform. This man actually asked a judge to put him in Jail so he would not have access to drugs. Yet to this day we have heard nothing from Theisman
about Manley.

The real offense is that he lands a Monday Night gig. How embarrassing. ESPN should be telling him to shut it up. Dribble like that is pathetic. I do hope that his son is doing well (2002 was a while back, and haven't heard anything of the bust since) as I am a huge supporter of rehabilatation and 2nd chances. What gets my goat is that Joey blabs about Ricky's addictions like he got busted for pot again. He didn't. From what I gather, it was probably a vitamin/diet suppliment from India that had a trace of something banned by the NFL. Because he doesn't go about life and football in the same manner as Joey doesn't mean he's evil. It just belittles Joey's opinions (AGAIN). Kudos to Ricky in how he handled everything.

Makes you think....I wonder what Joey might have told L.T. in warm-ups before his final game???
