I saw some people on here questioning if Brown could be a #1 back and do the job for us and I think yesterday proved that he can. He runs very hard and finishes his runs like a #1 back should. Yesterday they gave him the ball and actually showed some heart when they were blocking for the man. And hey, it's not like he was running against one of the worst defenses in the NFL, he shredded probably the best defense in football. I was very impressed with Brown, and I knew he could get it done, they just need to feed him the ball 25+ times a game and we'll be fine.

The Ronnie haters are interestingly silent after yesterday. Maybe they'll just go away now, crawl back under their rocks.

Let's hope so...
The biggest Ronnie Hater (redneck friend) hasn't said anything yet..i'm shocked...I was waiting for something like

"well, he didn't score"
"i saw this one hole he missed"
"ricky would've have 500 yards!"

:sidelol:

He's clearly out-performing Caddy (and Benson) 621 yds to 453 yds. It certainly appears we got the best RB from last year crop. Let's hope he continues to improve and be productive.

Ronnie had a great day. I like the power he runs with and how he can pick up 2-3 or more yards after the initial hit. I don't like the way Ronnie dances around and tries to juke out the defender on 90% of his runs. He needs to run, not dance. I hope Ronnie continues to have success.

Why can't he run like that all the time??....

He runs for 157 against one of the best DL's in football, and yet when he runs against weaker opponent's, he doesn't do anything. I can't quite put a finger on why Ronnie is so inconsistant, but he is....

PHINZ RULE!!!!

Every time he broke one of those big runs, my thoughts were something like, "wow, look at that draft bust run!!"

Redneck will ONLY show up when Ronnie has like 70 yards on 15 carries and complain that he's a bust. Thats his ignornant style....I just ignore him because most of his complaints about this and that make no sense.

give Ronnie 25 carries, win the game.

It's a simple equation Mularkey!

It has to do with the o-line. A lot of times they don't create enough holes for Brown to run through.

It's easy..the OL played really well...it's just nice to see Ronnie have some room

Ok, how many games has he had 20+ carries? 3. And with that 2 100 yard games and a 90 yard game. The other games he has on average around 14-15 carries. If he got a few more carries in each game, then maybe his numbers would be higher. I'm assuming your judging him on 100 yard games?

When the oline becomes consistant... so will Ronnie...

Thats all there is to it.
