so who still henne is the biggest concern?

If you don't think Henne has already shown DRAMATIC signs of turning the corner, since Daboll is calling the plays, you really should study the game of football. You are missing things. -5 Terrible post.
So two preseason games wipe out 2 years of garbage? Really? I still see him making some of the same mistakes. What Daboll has appeared to do (again, in preseason) is work around those shortcomings; mask them. I'm going to need to see him perform under the pressure of a REAL game (make that several games) before I start to have any faith in him as a starting QB. I would love for him to prove me wrong.

But keep relying on preseason. Nothing speaks of football knowledge like that. It's funny how I've been told that thinking Henne is not an NFL starting caliber QB after 2 full seasons is "knee jerk," but 1 good showing and 1 decent showing in the ****ing preseason is somehow good enough to call him the answer.

Again, read the post. If you can't see significant approval just because Daboll is calling the plays and NOT Henning.

Can't argue with you bro.....I want to see how he reacts after a bad game, a game where he throws 2-3 int and cost us the game.....how he bounces back from that will be what I'm looking for....

Until Henne shows he can do these kinds of things CONSISTENTLY in games that matter, I'll be sold. Until then I'll remain a skeptic.

does that mean you won't be pulling him when the real games, or does it mean when he has a bad game, it's all his fault despite the play of the OL or rec dropping passes or fumbles...bottomline it seem if he can't overcome all this, you'll call him a failure. is that about right?

You still haven't responded to anything I've said. That's fine. You think he's proven himself capable playing part-time in 2 preseason games and that that is all it takes to wipe away 2+ years of bad QB play. I disagree.

I have to say its kind of nice to have a little less, "Henne sucks, Henne sucks, we suck, you suck, I suck, Henne sucks", even if it is only transferred (justifiably) to the O-line. As for Henne, I KNOW, I KNOW it is only two preseason games, but anyone who is hoping he succeeds would have to be encouraged at this point. It is not even only the good stats. He looks different, in a good way.
same people with same comments, including myself.

but i find it amusing on henne. the dude under duress from crappy oline, does 10-13 1 td and struck two big plays downfield back to back and this is what we get.

because if he didnt do this you know what they would say....

henne still sucks....so we cant say that this week so we will wait til next week when the opportunity arises. laughable

Every great teams drafts a guy that fits their system and not vice versa. If Henne can run Daboll's offense and preliminary results seem to dictate that he MAY be able to do so, then its a win-win situation. We are where we are as a franchise because 1) our system ****ing blows donkey balls and has for about 13 years 2) we plugged in b-rate talent at the qb position and refused to actually change the system to something that resembled a winning system. **** + **** = Dolphins since the late 90's.

Maybe, just maybe, Daboll has a system that we are lucky to have players who actually work in that system.
