Lets take a step back from the Peyton Manning situation for a minute, lets remember FA starts tomorrow, so who do you guys think we target right away? my guess is FS Rreggie Nelson and/or Matt Flynn, I really don't think peyton is coming guys.

I'd have to say Flynn too unless Manning decides to meet with us.

Unfortuantely it all ties togther...is the perception that Manning won't meet with us hurting our chances with other FA's?

Nelson, the safety from Cinncy, or a lesser known free agent we haven't been discussing, which happenes most years.

This is an interesting question and my thought would be fs or olb, but what if manning does decide to prolong his decision to see what additions are made by his suitors, or would previous discussions with those teams including Miami have stated they will address oline concerns and he is just waiting for that confirmation before signing? Just a different angle please don't attack just opening up for discussion...

I'm sure we have a list of names we have interest in, but sadly we won't know who we can go after until we've addressed the QB situation...

Hence the lockdown. Nothing happens till we figure out the QB situation, that will determine how much we have left to spend and if we need to cut or restructure some of our current players.

I'll say no FA's will be signed by the Dolphins tomorrow.

for the record, I'd like to see them go after Mario Williams and Carlos Rodgers (or a higher end CB)... This way we can draft Decastro, TE, Safety and LB in the draft.

Manning & Williams *takes another shot of tequila*

I'd love Nicks, but he has gone on record saying he wants to be the highest paid interior lineman in the NFL. I'd rather draft Decastro, he's cheaper, younger and if the "experts" are on target, just as talented as Nicks.
