So who will be our first big FA signing tomorrow?

Forgot Hutch being released.. Anybody have any insight on what he's got left in the tank?
 
Flynn and Nelson. They need to have Flynn in Davie tomorrow afternoon and not let him leave.

Not sure but a few year back he signed a monster contract and Minn might try to resign him at a lower price.
I'd take him if the price is right. Great run blocker.
 
Ben Grubbs and Robert Meachem. We can get them cheap very overlooked free agents both extremely young
 
If I was GM, I would attempt to sign Grubbs or Nicks for our OL, resign Langford and make him get his weight down to 270-275 and make him a pass rusher opposite Wake, draft Leiff for RT with our first draft pick, and Hill the WR from GT at our second draft pick. All this of course assuming we sign either Manning or Flynn as our QB.
 
Nobody interested in Martellus Bennett? I think we need an athletic Tight End in the worst way. (Maybe we could get Dwayne Allen in the 2nd?) but realistically, I think guys like Nicks, Grubbs, and Williams are going to be out of our spending limit so Bennett would be signed based on potential which means he woulnd't be sooo expensive. He's already a great blocking TE, he runs in the 4.6s, he's 6'6 and he's hungry to start. Restructure Fasano's salary to be the #2 and Clay will a more athletic Kuhn from GB and eventually take over for Fasano. Besides that, bring in Reggie Nelson. I'd love to get Gaither but he'll be too expensive.
 
you better be careful if you pay bennett..he needs a pay for play contract pretty much...career underachiever...as for hutchinson he's just about on his last legs...i don't see where he makes sense for us...

meachem is interesting and imo underrated...but we have gates and i'm sure they want to get him more involved as a vertical weapon this season
 
Flynn and Nelson are our main targets, I would like us to also look at OJ Atogwe who was just cut. There are some good players being cut due to cap casualties and that could be good for us. The Ravens cut some good quality CBs which we can use, and let smith walk. We need to also address the oline and C Jason Brown was cut, maybe Pouncey slides to LG and Incognito to RG? Could quickly solve 2 positions?

That dude is a clown and will never reach his full potential.

As for Carl Nicks....they only way we would be able to afford him is if we didnt sign any other free agents, and that includes Manning or Flynn. Heck, Nicks might even cost more than Flynn. Get real people!
 
i wouldn't be surprised if nicks comes away with a 7 year $63 mil deal when its all said and done...he's going to try and eclipse the highest paid interior lineman contract in the league and that does it...big money for carl nicks on the way...big money
 
how about Ben Grubbs? he a talented interior lineman.

we wont get anybody....like fools, our FO will wait for Manning(wants to make his desicion quick....lol)to talks to 9 more teams......by then it'll be too late to get anyone of the top players since they'll all be gone including Flynn and in the end Manning will go to another team, which I will be happy if he does but not before messing up free agency for us.
